Casitas Coral Ridge

The room chose use some updating, otherwise enjoyed our stay.

This hotel was convenient to restaurants and shops, but, really it was pretty mediocre. The employees in and around the office and property weren’t that friendly or helpful. The air conditioning worked but was so loud it woke me up every time it came on. So I decided instead to open a window at night, but it wouldn’t open so I mentioned that to the desk who gave me a blank look. Upon further investigation I discovered that the screen wasn’t really installed correctly and once I adjusted it I could get the window open. The other complaint I had was that the toilet barely flushed and even when it did the aftermath was a horrible smell that lasted all day. The same unimpressed desk clerk said he would go check it out. I think he did but honestly he never got back to me. I suspect it was a property wide sewage issue that even changing rooms wouldn’t have helped. I will go back to Fort Lauderdale but I will spend a little more for a better place.

They were very accommodating to our early arrival. The room was clean and we felt safe walking around the area. I would recommend staying here!

Good hotel in a very convenient location.

Second stay.

I didn't want to write this review as I generally try to be a positive person, but I was let down by this property. It is showing its age having been built in the 1990s, the manager is not friendly, and the housekeeping was inconsistent. I will say it was quiet most nights which I appreciated. My room smelled like mold and the fan in the bathroom was not working properly as the humidity could not be cleared out in a timely fashion. The office has limited hours of 10am-5pm and I visited once during that period and no one was there and the office was locked. Again, I didn't want to write this review but this property needs a lot of work and I don't recommend staying here.

Quiety and reasonable.

The Bed was hard as a rock. Very uncomfortable. Be squeekkd

They are a non-smoking property, yet a neighbor was outside smoking many times. Other than that, it was a great place!

Easily accessible to downtown shopping and tucked away at the same time. It was a very comfortable and relaxing stay. We'll definitely be back!
