Best Western Hotel Nuernberg City West

Good place to break a journey between UK and the Alps.

We stayed three nights here as part of a visit to the Nuremberg and Munich Christmas markets. The Best Western Hotel Nuernberg City West is another example of chain hotel efficiency - you know exactly what to expect, and the team consistently delivers on those expectations. Breakfast is excellent, the staff very helpful, and the accommodation suitably clean and comfortable, if a little hot. It was -2ºC on our first night, but the room was too hot to sleep! If you're looking for a cheap base from which to explore Nuremberg, this hotel is a good choice.

Located a bit outside of downtown, but subway is very close. Great to visit the Christlkindl Market. Great breakfast buffet. Quiet rooms, a bit small and dated, but very clean.

Ultra modern hotel. Hot beverages in lobby, any time. Great buffet breakfast. Staff very helpful and friendly. Public transportation conveniently located nearby.

Internet not reliable , beds hard , main road nearby , busy offices and electrical store and car deal surrounding hotel . Underground 100m away for airport connection a plus . Breakfast seating and relaxation a nightmare , guess it's free !!

Booked this hotel as it was inexpensive and in Nuremberg for Christmas Markets. However, the location is no where near anything other than being local. While this is not fault of the property - it was clean and service very attentive. The hotel could use significant upgrades. Style - 1970's decor style. Tiny tiny bathroom. Positives - breakfast buffet was great!

Very pleasant stay here. We booked it for the Christmas market, and we could not have chosen a more convenient location for the price. The local u bahn station was literally around the corner, it only took two or three minutes to walk from the door of the hotel to the entrance of the underground. Then it was only a short ride into the old town where we could walk around the extensive market. The breakfast was good, though gets quite busy - would recommend heading down early if you're picky about tables. The room was a lovely big size, with two single beds, a table with two chairs, and plenty of floor space, as well as a separate foyer area for the door to the room that lead to the bathroom. It served as a great base for exploring the city, though there wasn't much in the local area such as restaurants and things, so don't expect all of your needs to be met as soon as you walk out of the hotel. That said, if I was booking another trip to Nuremberg, I would definitely try and stay here again, and I would happily recommend it to friends or family!

The reception and bar staff where friendly. The waiting staff in the breakfast area were very friendly and couldn't do enough to make sure you had everything you wanted / needed
