B&B Baia Scirocco

We stayed 4 nights in the very spacious downstairs "blue" room at Baia Scirocco in late September 2011. We went to sleep with the sound of the ocean waves lapping on the rocks far below this b & b. Very private with expansive sea views. Breakfasts on the upstairs sun-drenched terrace were unbelievable - freshly brewed coffee, juice, cereals, yoghurt, croissants, home-baked cake, fruit, hard-boiled eggs, cheeses and cold meats, fresh bread and home made jams; much more than we could eat! Antonella was the perfect host, she was helpful and lively with suggestions of what to do in the area, she also shared the location of her favourite restaurants with us (which we of course followed up on; one of the restaurants we ate at twice!). Our room was serviced daily including changes of bathroom linen during our stay - something that rarely happens at many b & b's we stayed at in Italy. The place is a little hard to find, being on the edge of town and it's about a 15 minute walk into the centre (meaning you have to be reasonably fit to walk up some steps or have a car). We did not find the location a downside as it afforded us considerably privacy and rest after a long flight from the other side of the world. We would highly recommend this place to anyone who want to enjoy friendly hospitality in a private setting.
