Hotel Gulec

If you are looking for great value in Bodrum I can't imagine a better place. Our room was a good size, clean and most importantly had very good air conditioning. The location is a 5 minute walk from the beach and main road of restaurants, clubs, bars and shops in Bodrum yet was very quiet. Breakfast was traditional Turkish food and consited of bread, a boiled egg, cheese, tomoatoes, cucumber, olives and jam. You also had a choice of drinks (tea, coffee, juice etc). It was served outside in the delightful garden featuring olive , lime and lemon trees. The staff were very helpful and msde some great recommendations for restaurants and beaches to visit on the Bodrum peninsular. We were two friends sharing a room and our beds were two singles pushed together but with separate covers and were big enough that it felt like twin beds. The shower was also good. I really have no complaints about this lovely family-run hotel!

I spent 5 nıghts at the hotel ın beautıful but usually expensıve Bodrum. The staff and management were superb and ıts settıng relaxıng and attractıve. An ıncredıble value-I hıghly recommend ıt.

My partner and I stayed here for two nights. What a little gem of a place. It seems family owned and operated. The place is very "cute" and mediterranean. we were impressed with the size of the room. breakfast was traditional and simple. It s about 10 mins walk from Bodrum bus station and 5 minutes to the main beach. enjoy!

This was one of my favorite parts of my trip to Turkey. The family that runs the hotel took us in like we were family. Being three girls traveling alone, it was wonderful to feel safe and taken Care of

This hotel is located perfectly in the old part pf the city not far from amenities and sites. Basic and clean, it has a peaceful garden setting and a quaint aura. Staff very helpful. Excellent value for the rate we purchased at. Recommended.

The hotel was good. The staff is amazing. The beds were not very comfortable and the bathroom was tiny. Great location.

Very clean basic room and wonderful garden area for nice typical breakfast of bread, cheese, olives, tomatoes, cukes and an egg. Good air conditioning! Nice quiet location, but walkable to waterfront and very helpful staff.

Stay started badly with one of filthiest toilets I have ever seen. However, the owners handled the problem beautifully, being sympathetic and apologetic, and by the time we returned to room, the toilet looked replaced it was so clean! The garden was heavenly for breakfast, and owners made a point of talking to all guests. The air conditioning was the only one that really worked on our entire trip! The location to the waterfront was great, although not as close to museum as we would have liked considering heat.

I thought the hotel's quality and location was fair for the price paid. However, the floor of my room was not clean.

The location cannot be beat, close to all attractions and only a short walk from the main bus station. Incredibly clean, serene rooms with a gorgeous rose garden courtyard. The owner is very kind, understanding, and eager to offer lots of advice to maximize your enjoyment of Bodrum. Plan on staying there again soon.
