Hotel Apartamentos Bajondillo

Whether to book this hotel or not very much depends on your expectations and type.of holiday you want. For context, we booked quite late and just wanted a moderately priced hotel in torremolinos. We knew our days would be spent away from the hotel. Usually, we are very selective and prefer top end hotels. We booked here with no particular expectations. Firstly, we were fortunate to be allocated one of the recently refurbished rooms, I dont think many rooms have been refurbished. Absolute bonus as the room was lovely, albeit limited self-catering facilities if this is important, it wasn't for us as we eat out in the evenings but ample equipment for breakfast. Basically, you get a hob and pans, no grill, oven, toaster, or kettle. Pool is small for the size of the hotel, and surrounding grounds are a combination of grass and dirt. If the pool scene is important for your holiday, I wouldn't book here. Im not convinced about €4 a day charge per sun lounger being fair, I've never come across this. Beach is €8 with better beds and views, including parasol and tables. We're quite a young family with 17 and 12 year old sons and enjoy a late night. We still found the very very loud entertainment that didn't finish until midnight a bit discourteous. Effectively, you can not go to bed before midnight if your room faces the pool.area. 8pm - 11pm would be a happy medium in our view. In summary, okay for the right price if you prefer the beach and like a loud hotel.

We stayed with the family for 7 nights and thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The staff, from receptionist, to chamber maids were outstanding very friendly! We liked Marco who was running entertainment in the evenings with some wonderful dance moves. It felt like we were staying at home, surrounded by very friendly people. We are hoping to come back here again! Thank you for a wonderful experience!

We visited here as a family, the rooms are very small for a family, they have a hob & fridge but no kettle or tea/coffee facilities. Bathroom was lovely an rooms were cleaned daily but only got new towels an made up not new bedclothes. Breakfast selection is the most basic of basic, all basic meats and cheeses breads fruit has seen better days an the hot food was watery scrambled egg, mini hotdogs, beans an mixed veggies. The pool has a shallow end for kids but other than that that’s all for kids there is a disco advertised for kids in the evening that consists of 3 songs an a jelly at the end for each child The hotel is based in a great location but that’s as far as it goes being charged €4 a day per sunbed was a step too far an the pool men in charge of this were the rudest men ever.

Don't rent a car, basically impossible to park at the end of th day, that just ruined the car bit for us. The pool is too small for the volume of people trying to use it. The I am Vietnam restaurant a short walk round the beachfront is worth a visit.

Great quality! Lovely service! Right on the beach...near the centre..around corner of Carihuela, towards Puerto Marina... And the other way, just a 10 min walk from the stunning beaches of Playamar..Los Alamos! I will come back next year!
