Golden Tulip Caramulo was an experience. A beautiful hotel with stunning views. We had mixed reports, our double room was large, clean and comfortable with outstanding views. Breakfast was excellent and the early serving of it for the riders was much appreciated.

My son’s room, a triple in the tower was needing re-decorating as it had mould on the walls where the ceiling and wall met. The staff were welcoming and friendly except for one lady who didn’t provide much of a service serving drinks at the bar and proceeded to lock a group of us outside on the terrace. The pool was unfortunately closed and looked in a terrible state. With a bit more investment it could be fabulous - perhaps it was just the off season. The pool table queue tips also need replacing. The evening menu was a bit limited and not appealing to teenagers so we had to drive and hunt for an alternative restaurant which proved quite hard to find in the area. There was very little choice.

O Hotel tem pouco conforto para um 4 estrelas. No quarto não havia uma garrafa de água, nem copos de vidro. Os colchões são antigos e pouco confortáveis.
