Minerva Resort Hotel

Very large appartement, 2 bedrooms, a living, 2 balconies, classical furniture. Wonderful swimming pool, half around 1,20 deep, the other half deeper, for more experienced swimmers Beautiful garden. Daily cleaning. AC. Very good breakfast. Private beach within walking distance, with a sunbed, a chair and an umbrella, free from row 2. (You need to cross through camping Athena. The sea was very clean, shallow and very warm) Very practical, safe parking.

It would be nice to offer 2 sunbeds for the price (the chair is rather uncomfortable and the option rather cheap considering the overall price). Plastic glasses instead of regular ones. No kettle or coffee in the room. The walls have damp. Dinner options quite expensive. Otherwise you need a car to go Paestum. Central air-conditioning that cannot be regulated or interrupted - it can be too cool.

Buffet breakfast (lots of options to choose from). Cool swimming pool (it's divided, there is a kids corner, a deep corner to swim and also a sitting corner). Most of the dinners were amazing and you have the opportunity to choose from different courses, also we had live music on one of the days. Mario is the best waiter.😄 Free bicycle to use. Beach is 5 min walk away.

At least half of the staff/waiters doesn't speak English, which is quite unbelievable in 2024. The wifi connection was very poor. AC was not working in our room but fortunately the other two cooled down the apartment (also, it was uncontrollable, because when we left the room and took the card that powers the apartment, we always came back to a very cold room, but the AC was set to off. Also, for some reason we were unable to lock our front door and it was always open, when we left.. we mentioned this to the reception, but no one checked it. The time range for the dinner should be bigger (before 19:30 or at elast extend it to 10), so you are able to watch the sunset on the beach, but this is just a suggestion. Soundproofing is horrible, you can hear every step and conversation.

Fantastic hotel! Beautifully maintained with a stunning beachfront property. The breakfast was delicious & the staff went out of their way to be of assistance. The barman Sonni was absolutely brilliant!!! Highly recommended & can’t wait to return :)

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The pool is very pleasant. The poolside drink prices were fair and the music ambiance was great. The availability of bicycles was perfect. The linens, towels and amenities have a good quality. The breakfast have a lot of good options and fresh coffee.

The air conditioning in room 103 needed maintenance. The terrace is a good size but could be improved with some options for relaxation. Although the room is comfortable and well maintained, the furniture and decoration could be modernized. The last point is more of a suggestion: Although the hotel has a restaurant, we had no information about its availability.

The pool and beach facilities were great and not at all crowded when we were there. Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was spacious and clean and plenty of wardrobe space.

Weddings at the venue meant that the pool was sometimes closed. Little to do at the hotel in the evenings.
