Hotel Auberge Michel Doyon

My partner and I stayed here for 2 nights, and I’ll try my best to give a helpful review since I didn’t get to take photos. Check-in was self-service. There was an envelope with our keys and instructions waiting on the side table when we arrived. They had coffee and water available, plus a small common area at the back with laundry, a kitchenette, and dining tables. We stayed in Room #6, which is on the left side of the front building. As you enter, there’s a closet on the right and the bathroom on the left. The room had a double bed, TV, two chairs with a small round table, a microwave, and a mini fridge. The bathroom was clean, but there’s no exhaust fan..so if you haven’t pooped for two days… good luck 😆 Just open the door! Overall, it’s a simple but decent place for a short stay. The location is perfect just a 4-minute walk to rent bikes on Ernest-Gagnon Street and an easy ride to Old Quebec. Parking is first come, first served, and we were lucky to get a spot for both days. For the price and location, it’s a great deal. We’d definitely stay here again!😊👍🏻

Facilité d'accès, équipement de l'appartement malgré le fonctionnement (très bruyant) . La possibilité offerte d'un surclassement dès notre arrivée. La facilité de se garer gratuitement.

La literie moyenne pour trois jours. Le bruit important du réfrigérateur ainsi que la ventilation de la salle de bain. Le dysfonctionnement des luminaires

Sleutel lag klaar in lobby. Hotelkamer met 2 x 2 persoonsbedden, met kitchenette over 2 keukenkastjes, erg krap. Met toaster, waterkoker, koffie zetapparaat, koffie, magnetron was aanwezig.

Ligging, je kunt alleen met de bus (contante betaling) of fiets huur (helm verplicht) naar het centrum. Het is een oud gebouw en het was kil in de kamer toen we aankwamen, heater aangezet klapte de elektriciteit eruit. Tweemaal moeten bellen voordat het opgelost werd. Je kon maar 1 apparaat tegelijk aanzetten...bestek e.d. is niet voor 4 personen aanwezig.

La proximité avec le vieux quebec et la ligne de bus. Le fait d’avoir un logement avec un peu d’équipement pour être autonome . Les explications de l’hôte pour les ligne de bus.

Le logement n’était pas bien isolé du bruit ( voisin du haut et de dehors gros passage de voiture ).

Malgré les avis contrastés c'est pas mal. L'emplacement est idéal avec l'arrêt du bus pour le centre juste devant. Les chambres arrières doivent sûrement être plus calmes mais pas trop de bruit à l'avant malgré la circulation. Le prix est aussi un argument + Parking gratuit
