Akzent Hotel Höhenblick

Room facilities OK. Consider it only as a bed for the night.

A shadow of it's former self. I have stopped over in this hotel on a few occasions and have been really pleased with the friendly staff and the restaurant serving both evening meals and breakfasts. It seemed, then, to be very popular. It is now looking very bland without an evening restaurant an a reduced size breakfast room. It fails to take advantage of those good views over the valley from the restaurant. Overall disappointing, perhaps I was expecting more....It was like seeing an elderly friend again after a few years and being saddened by their rate of decline.

Too early check in. Missing not having an in house restaurant.

We were given a room over the road in a hostel type building and not in the hotel as per the reservation. Once you arrived in the breakfast room the comfort was good as was cleanliness, friendliness of the staff and and the breakfast was good value for money.

Our room was NOT in the main hotel, as booked, but is a room more suitable for 2 Scouts/Guides or hotel staff sharing a room, where the two beds were end on (foot to foot). This is not what we expected.
