Palacio de Luces, Small Luxury Hotels

Un lugar maravilloso, agradable, estético, con genial cocina y mejor servicio. Hemos estado un fin de semana y volveremos. El precio es elevado, pero merece la pena.

Como único punto negativo, nos quedamos sin probar el desayuno porque el coste es una locura, y no hay alternativas en la zona, que no requieran coger el coche (nos fuimos hasta Gijón para desayunar

Beautiful location, quiet, not far from Lastres which is a beautiful coastal village. Also not far from many beaches such as playa de Rodiles which is wonderful. Service at the hotel was overall excellent; great cleaning service of the rooms, very customer oriented at reception, friendly staff everywhere.

Hotel situato sui resti di un antico Castillo nella bella campagna delle Asturie e vicinissimo allo splendido villaggio costiero di Lastres. Camera, servizi, accoglienza sono risultati sontuosi. Ottimo e curato il ristorante. Ci è dispiaciuto partire.

The building itself was very beautiful, the views were stunning. The room was outstanding, spacious and airy. The spa was execellent. The menu for lunch and evening food was varied and was well cooked and delicious.The local village is very quaint and beautiful. The local beaches are lovely for both couples and families.

The breakfast was awful. I cannot have watermelon as I am intollerant to it nor melon. I have to take antihistimines even if they are on the table. Each day, despite us telling them this on arrival and also each morning, there was watermelon in my fruit dish. When we politely reminded them they just removed the watermelon and brought back the dish. after three days we just said we no longer wanted to take breakfast. they did apologise but still... Fruit was the same three fruits each day. There was a menu from which you could choose cooked items but there was no breads, cheese, fruit, cereals, nuts selection (or pastry selection) that I would have expect for the price of 35 euros per person per day. Location is very beautiful but you need a car to get anywhere.

Lovely , modern / old hotel combination, great pool and spa (we had to ourselves). Dinner was very enjoyable (tasty and stunning views) and the service was good. About 90 mins from Ferry back to the uk. Large very comfortable room with good air conditioning. To get a 5/5 however two suggestions 1. Buffet breakfast at €70 for a couple is excessive (so we skipped it) 2. Car park is on slope and spaces relatively small, we had a wide Ferrari, car park also had large suv and transit vans. There was a second large separate secure car park which was empty and we’d have preferred to have left our car ‘but this wasn’t in use as other car park not full’..,.. hmm, not very customer centric.

Great staff members. When asked to help with finding a taxi to pick us up from a popular hike they didnt go above and beyond. They simply said we dont know any refusing to investigate for us. For such a rated hotel and the cost its very odd to be treated that way.

We have been delighted staying in this hotel. The rooms, the restaurants and the service are extraordinary. I highly recommend this hotel

Excellent hotel. Very clean and relaxing. Bed was comfortable, room was large, very nice bathroom, had a nice patio with the room. Lovely flower beds and grounds. Alas, we only had one night there; I could have stayed at least two nights. Had dinner at the restaurant. Great view, wonderful food, and attentive staff. Good views from the fining room.
