Hotel Solar de Monfalim

Great view from the romantic veranda overlooking the town and countryside; the building is very pretty and located in the town centre; it's a classified historic building, which makes it interesting.

Parking is not easy (but if you don't carry too much luggage, walking isn't a problem); the inside of the building is in serious need of renovation (we were informed by the very nice receptionist on Sunday morning that it will be renovated soon); the bed was small and the pillows too soft; the room was not very comfortable; it was cold (air-conditioning was not working very well), and there was only a very old blanket that smelt dusty; the bathroom needs a serious renovation; we were given room 214, high up on the second floor (I'm sure it's not their best); there was a constant low noise that became annoying (our window opened to the air-conditioning vent). Breakfast was ok; there's fruit and freshly squeezed orange juice. Just be careful, as you have to squeeze it yourself, and the machine is a killer (3 of my fingers on my right hand hurt for 2 days after my only try). We do plan to return after the renovations, as we found the hotel quaint, and it's well-located.

W tym hotelu nie da się spać - przez całą noc do 6 rano słychać hałasy i muzykę pobliskiej dyskoteki. Koszmar!

Wunderbares "altes" Hotel mitten in der Altstadt (somit keine freie Parkplätze direkt an Hotel) mit super Flair. Einfaches, sauberes Zimmer. Ganzes Ambiente hat was von der belle Epoche. Solides Frühstück. Das Besondere ist einfach die Lage mitten in der mitteralterlichen Kernstadt nahe Kathedrale und römischem Tempel.

Boa localização e um ótimo e variada escolha de alimentos ao pequeno almoço.

Tampa da sanita em péssimo estado de conservação, impropria para uso. já devia ter sido mudada á muito tempo
