Clew Bay Hotel

Eveng about this place was amazing! From the moment I was welcomed at the front desk to the minute we left. Beautiful place, very accommodating. Bernie, our server at breakfast, made our day with her friendliness(although a few points off for her for telling me the weather was going to get better and it didn’t!). Thanks much for a great stay!

The location was perfect. The staff were friendly. The rooms were clean and the beds were comfy. The breakfast was good and plenty of choice. The evening meals were very good. A party of 8 people stayed for 2 nights and not one of them had any complaints. It was great wee hotel to stay. To the staff continue your good and hard work.

The bar, dining room, and the staff were all excellent

The bedroom was very dark, no light came in, the bedroom and toilet facilities were very dated. I asked for another room, it too was dark and toilet facilities were very dated. My bathroom at home is 26 years old and it is more modern. If l hadnt paid for 2 nights when l came into reception at the start, l would have left. I said to the receptionist that it still was very dark, no windows, only a kind of skylight, she said there was nothing else.

I stayed for one night as I traveled with a tour group. Great restaurant and friendly service plus a comfortable room. The owners seem to take special care that guests are well taken care of.

Room was spotless and bed was very comfortable. Staff were very professional, friendly and courteous. Breakfast and Dinner in the restaurant was excellent. Best breakfast and dinner we had in a hotel ever. Restaurant staff couldn't do enough for us and always with a smile. Hotel very central and parking nearby.

Lovely hotel, very clean, lovely spacious room. Very friendly helpful staff, lovely restaurant had a delicious meal in it. Couldn't fault it will definitely be back!

Staff were fantastic, rooms were spotless, and the food was excellent. Location also great.

Although not the hotels fault (we stayed over the bank holiday) our room was facing the hostel which was full on rowdy noise until 5am one night so couldn’t sleep. Due to the heat in the room it wasn’t comfortable to keep the windows closed. Bathroom needs a good extractor fan also.

Det var väldigt hög ljudnivå i restaurangen vilket gjorde att vi lämnade så fort vi ätit upp. Fish and chips var inte imponerande.
