Cascina Garden Hotel

Il giudizio negativo per le condizioni e manutenzione dell'hotel sono relative al bagno, in cui MANCAVA di: 1) presa elettrica per il rasoio elettrico (non c'era neanche nel fon). L'ho trovata in camera, vicinio ad un lettino. 2) attaccapanni (la cui utilità è ben nota) e l'investimento per l'adeguamento è davvero modesto!

L'hotel è carino e non costa molto. Ha il solo problema di essere fuori città, quindi è necessario spostarsi in auto.

L'hotel si trova in una posizione periferica ma di facile accesso, specialmente per chi arriva a Campobasso dalla direzione di Roma, ed è dotato di un ampio parcheggio. In meno di 5 minuti in macchina si raggiunge il centro. La struttura non è recentissima ma tenuta bene e, soprattutto, pulitissima. Il personale si è dimostrato molto cortese, cordiale e disponibile. Buona la colazione (da sottolineare la presenza di torte buonissime).

Hotellrummen var rena och snygga med högt läge och en fin utsikt över omgivande berg. Hotellet låg en bra bit utanför staden men hade goda bussförbindelser,dock inte alls på kvällen. Personalen i hotellets reception var trevlig och hjälpsam men är ej engelsktalande. Hotellets restaurang serverade osmaklig mat av burkmatstyp. Undvik att äta här. Sammanfattningsvis ett bra hotell för en övernattning vid genomresa med bil.

la barre tenant les doubles rideaux est tombée pendant notre séjour! une seule fenêtre simple s'ouvre légèrement environ 25 à 35 cm sur le haut de la fenêtre, la clim est plutôt légère dans la chambre et s'arrête seule lorsque nous débranchons le système électrique, c'est assez étouffant à notre retour et très bruyante dans la salle de bain, ou nous avons eu des fuites d'eau. Heureusement le personnel était très agréable!

We stayed here for 12 nights .My wife has family in Isernia who we wanted to visit and see the surrounding area.The staff were extremely helpfull although it would be better if you have some Italian as english speakers are thin on the ground.Everything about this hotel was more than adequate for us and our needs.It was also extremely reasonably priced for the food ,drinks and wonderful coffee.It is a very european hotel and may not suit some English travellers ,no cooked breakfast or English menu or food.We found the food fantastic and ate there 10 out of the 12 nights.Special thanks to Roberta and Lucia on the desk who are great

Located directly (really) above the SS87 which confused the satnav as we drove through the tunnel underneath! The hotel is mid-refurbishment and we got one of the 'new' rooms which was very clean and well decorated, if the rest of the hotel and grounds are finished to the same standard it will be a very good place to stay. Only downside is the restaurant and bar which are functional but no more, though the staff were helpful and cheerful. Make sure you go to Altilia Saepinum (careful you don't drive past, the sign is not obvious) this is a really interesting and accessible Roman town well worth the €2 parking.

Very good example of a typical European hotel.

We stayed here a couple nights while visiting small towns in the area. The hotel is located a little ways out of Campobasso which is actually beneficial unless you really want to deal with Campobasso's maze of roads on a regular basis. On the down side there's nothing much to walk to although it's highly unlikely you ended up here without a car of your own. The rooms were nice and spacious, especially for the price. Our only real problem with the room was that the hot water was sporadic. The restaurant is actually quite good, we had both breakfast and dinner in the hotel. Dinner service is a bit sterile but we'd definately stay here again next time we're in Campobasso.

We used this hotel as a jumping off point for visiting relatives and doing genealogy in a much smaller village in the mountains. Roberta at the front desk went out of her way to help us find our way to this village when our GPS failed us. She shared our enthusiasm for the quest to find the home of my mother's parents. The restaurant meals were good quality, especially the grilled lamb chops. Not too much English is spoken at this hotel, which is typical for the area, but a good dictionary and a little practice with the language before your trip will be a big help. The location is excellent with plenty of parking and good access to major roads which have many signs for this hotel.
