Didsbury House Hotel

Hotel is beautifully decorated throughout. Staff were very friendly

Did not like having the bath and shower actually in the bedroom. The room was not massive so they were a bit close to the bed. Sadly there was something wrong with the plumbing so when the toilet was flushed in another room a nasty smell came up through the drain in the shower or bath (not sure which) which smelt out the bedroom. We did report this when we left and they took a few drinks off our bill to compensate. Glad we had not booked the room for a romantic break.

Very nice breakfast. Good choice of food. Missed having a bowl of mixed berries which had been provided on an earlier stay.

Fantastic staff. Beautiful room. The lounge and bar area is welcoming and comfortable. Will be staying again soon.

Being able to order bar food when I needed it and it came very quickly. Liked the breakfast room decor.

Couldn't find any milk or whitener in the bedroom but didn't bother. The reception area is very dark behind the stairs and I have difficulty reading small print - had to take the forms into the bar.

Large, comfortable bed. Fantastic bathroom with massive bed and lovely shower. Very friendly and accommodating staff.

Food was beautiful but there wasn't a lot of it (as expected for a fancy meal)!
