There was a clump of hair in my tub…made me wonder if it was cleaned. They seemed to be cleaning the common area constantly though. Bathroom tiles were old and stained black. I was on the upper level and my windows opened to a porch. I was out there on her speakerphone constantly and smoking. Even though there were signs all over that said no smoking. I went to the front desk and their solution was to close the outer shutters on my window so I no longer had daylight or fresh air instead of telling her not to smoke or go in her room to be on the phone.

The location was super central to everything the arc and central plaza. Restaurants all around walking distance to everything. The rooms and decor was beautiful, they have a pool table in the entrance and view of the water volcano from the rooftop was incredible. Rooms were clean also it is pet friendly. They don’t serve breakfast but had coupons for breakfast, lunch and dinner at another restaurant. I would definitely recommend.

The location is very central, and the staff very helpful and attentive. Laundry facility on site, and common kitchen for all guests to use was convenient. No air conditioning in room. Had a ceiling fan, but it was quite noisy to sleep with. Would return again if visiting Antigua.

The property is unique, but so is Antigua. One would have to dig deep to find anything to complain about. Management might want to take into consideration that guests need a designated space (outdoors) in which to hang wet swimsuits and clean mud from boots after hiking. Other than this, I really enjoyed my stay here and I got the best night's sleep I've had since arriving in Guatemala!

Quiet, easy walking to central park, museums, and churches, la bodega supermarket just 2 minutes away, cerro de la cruz is 20 minutos walking beautiful view to the city and water volcano... I would also recommend going to el mercado where you can find clothes, shoes , food , etc ask for discount if you planing to buy anything there .
