Voor de tweede keer hier. Prachtige locatie in de Toscane. Lekker zwembad met bar. Vriendelijke en goede bediening en een uitstekend restaurant. Een echte aanrader

Beautiful country setting in the Tuscan countryside near Cortona. We had a ground floor room off a comfortable shared sitting room and kitchen. The restaurant alone is worth the trip.

We liked everything.

The breakfast and dinner were great. The food was fantastic. The views and surroundings are stunning. Great country side feeling to relax. The pool area is beautiful, though the pool is not heated. It is a very nice resort as long as you are looking for a relaxing and quiet atmosphere. Cortona is quite in the middle of the way to Montepulciano and Sienna, making it possible to drive to those places as day trips.

We had to climb two flights of stairs to our suite and after that one more flight to the bedroom. So the main room was upstairs, and the bathroom downstairs, which is not a very convenient location if you need to use the bathroom in the middle of the night. We were not aware we would be given this room.

Large comfortable room and bathroom. Shower could use a bit more pressure. The restaurant is excellent, we ate thereon two nights and both times it was superb.

Dit resort ligt op een zeer rustige plek, midden in een fraai landschap. Het is een grote accommodatie die bestaat uit verschillende delen. We deelden een groot appartement met vrienden, dat bestond uit twee grote slaapkamers met elk hun badkamer, en een gemeenschappelijke keuken en salon (die we haast nooit gebruikt hebben). Het resort beschikt over een groot restaurant (uitgebreid ontbijtbuffet en mogelijkheid om er 's avonds te eten) met buitengedeelte, een zwembad (niet zo heel groot maar wel voldoende) met bar en gratis parking. Cortona ligt op een 8-tal km, dus je moet wel even de wagen nemen om daar te geraken. Dit is een zeer geschikte plek om in een historisch gebouw een weekje door te brengen en het is een prima uitvalsbasis om interessante plekken in de omgeving te gaan bezoeken (Cortona, Arezzo, Montepulciano, Pienza, Montalcino, San Quirico,...). Voor ons een geslaagd verblijf!

De tuin is zodanig groot dat het onderhoud wat achterbliijft. De gazebo, bijvoorbeeld, was volledig overwoekerd. De tuinman heeft veel werk!
