Hôtel De L'Ill

The photos in the room focusing on clear water trigger the cristal clean feeling. Or they recall the name of a well known band "Credence, ckearwater revival...." The breakfast was excellent, mainly local, home-like jams and other food, with labels indicating the content and the source. The staff was very attentive and kind.

This is the second time we have stayed at Hotel De L’ll. It is located across the river from the cathedral and an easy walking distance to shopping, restaurants and bars. The staff is very friendly and helpful. There is a very nice breakfast included and coffee, tea and sweets are available after breakfast. There is a place to store luggage before check-in and after check-out. The hotel has an elevator.. We will stay there again if we return to Strasbourg.

Like many budget hotels in Europe, the rooms are small. This was not a problem for us but might be for others.
