Hotel Lento

We passed a week in Naples which we really enjoyed. We lodged at the Hotel Lento in Milito Naples. The hotel has quite good and clean rooms with adequate facilities. Breakfast was good But most of all the owners are such nice people. They treat you as part of their family going out of their way to make your holiday as pleasant as ever. Since the transportation is a bit of a problem they offered us the possibility of taking us to the nearest metro station by their own car to which we gladly accepted.

Da esaltare la gentilezza e la disponibilità di tutto lo staff. Ottima colazione. Camere un po' datate e pulizia non proprio impeccabile. Nel complesso consigliabile per un breve soggiorno. Comodità del posto auto interno.

We spent one night at the Lento hotel. We arrived late Saturday night directly from Naples airport, and left the following morning. Gianfranco, the owner (I believe) was very friendly and helpful. We easily overcame the language barrier (he only speaks Italian), and he tried his best to give us tips. Breakfast was very nice (although we wished there would be some vegetables served...). All in all we needed a hotel for the night, not far from the airport and at a reasonable price, and the Lento suited us fine.

We were a group of ~15 people and had a great time at Hotel lento! A great place to stay if you pass by Napoli... The people were sooo kind and friendly, great atmosphere, the rooms were clean. Thank you & blessings from the swiss group :-)

Stayed here in September as a base for Naples, Pompeii and the sights. Family run business who go out of there way to make your stay perfect. Even though it's a bit out of the way, it gives a real sense of Italy and their people. The place is also spotless, would highly recommend!

First please be aware that Lento is NOT 600 meters from Central Napoli but from Melito de Napoli. It is half an hour away from Naples center. It is however pretty close to the airport. Also it is in a very poor area but that is how most of Napoli is these days. There is nothing to do in the area, no real restaurants and such, and you need a car or cab to get around. The hotel is nice and the staff is extremely friendly and helpful although only speak Italian. As others mentioned here, the breakfast is not very interesting. The reason for the three stars is that it somehow was really nice. We felt welcomed and safe during our stay and on the streets. Naples traffic is Italian driving to the core! Really swift and intuitive.

Lovely family run Hotel. Good clean rooms. Best service and friendly reception. Breakfast very basic, consisted of a sweet croissant and a coffee. No, or very little English spoken here, but amazing how we can communicate without words. We only had one night in Naples and think we could have spend it better being closer to the Old Town and other tourist attractions. We checked in late and left early again. Good pizza place just up the street that the owner recommended to us, as the Hotel's restaurant was closed already. If you use it as a base and have more time, this could be an affordable option to discover Naples.

The best thing about the hotel is the family Lento, very kind, very welcoming. Great service. The worst thing is the distance to the city. You have to walk 15 min to get to the metro, then wait for the metro (mostly about 15 mins) , change lines for another metro, and then it takes 30 mins to get to the centre. So count about an hour to get from the hotel to the city centre.

Das Hotel liegt im Zentrum an einer viel besonders in den Abendstunden befahrenen Strasse. Der Lärm der Straße war trotzdem erträglich.
