Hotel Monte Baldo

Beautiful quaint hotel. Staff were great and the rooms lovely. The main thing you MUST do is get a room with a balcony. Superb view over the tiny harbour and out over the lake. Absolutely faultless stay and the memory of the view from the balcony in the mornings with a coffee and the evenings with a G&T will stay with us for a very long time. Limone itself isn't very big, so we were happy to move on after a couple of nights, but just wished we could put our hotel on the ferry and take it with us. Our next hotel in Sirmione was twice the price and half as good. If you're a couple staying in Limone stay here.

Stayed here for wife's birthday this was a Wonderful hotel in fantastic location with superb staff. What made it special was the suprise champagne breakfast. if you stay you will not be disappointed But a Must is a balcony room the views of the lake are spectacular

My wife and I stayed at the Monte Baldo last year and chose to go back again this year as part of a European road trip. What can I say about the hotel that hasn't already been said, beautiful location, beautiful views spotlessly clean and friendly staff. We'd only eaten breakfast in the hotel last year so decided to try the restaurant for an evening meal this year as it had good reviews. The food was excellent, what I would describe as "clean and fresh" Italian cooking, not trying to be too pretentious and certainly not tasting like it came out of a plastic bag which is more than I can say about some restaurants in Limone! Overall one of my favourite hotel, so I'll be back!

Great hotel in a excellent location , menu wasn't quite to our taste however plenty of excellent restaurant's nearby , interior of the hotel is very unique being built against the existing mountain .Very friendly staff , will visit this hotel again.

A truly superb hotel, very pleased to find such a delightful hotel so reasonably priced with breakfast included. Although we may have been unlucky with the weather on Lake Garda, the wonderful hotel certainly took our minds away from that and we both had a truly memorable stay here at the Monte Baldo. The service was excellent and the food in the restaurant downstairs was certainly the best we found in Limone sul Garda (although sister restaurant Gemma around the corner offers the same menu too.) I would almost certainly recommend this hotel and after taking advice from another reviewer in requesting a lake view I would encourage you to do the same. A truly relaxing way to wake up looking across the lake and down at the mini port below.

Hotel Monte Baldo is simply amazing! We stayed in the hotel for four nights and couldn't have asked for a more perfect location to explore Limone and Lake Garda. The staff were superb and always enthustic to see you went going for breakfast or do having a drink in the bar on the ground floor. Having breakfast on the balcony within the restaurant was one of our highlights of the holiday. The view from the balcony is one of the best in Limone and overlooks the quaint Via Porto. We cant wait to return to Hotel Monte Baldo and are planning a group holiday to take our friends and family.

This hotel is nestled on the edge of Limone sul Garda. When you enter your room and look out from the balcony it takes your breath away. The room was clean, well decorated and simple in its decoration. The staff were warm and friendly and responded to any questions that you had. However if we hadn't asked I don't think we would have been given any advise on local attractions and transport. You are very close to all restaurants, boat rides and lakeside swimming. We arrived by car and had to drive down the pedestrian piazza. This felt very wrong being a follower of British traffic rules. You then have to take your suitcases a couple of 100 metres to the hotel frontage. Then return your car back to the main road to put your car in the free parking. Don't let this put you off. The effort is well worth it !!! We didn't eat breakfast in the hotel as we felt that this was over priced. However we did have an evening meal on our second night in the hotel restaurant and this was far superior to one of the lakeside restaurants. Make sure you book a table on the balcony if you want to eat outside. The service is excellent and the food matches this. It was very romantic.

Hotel Monte Baldo is situated in the centre of Limone, so it's very close to all the local restaurants, bars and shops. The hotel overlooks the lake and some of the rooms have small balconies with great views. The staff are friendly and helpful, the decor is tasteful and the rooms are large and very clean, with nice modern ensuite bathrooms. The hotel is in easy walking distance of the Lake Garda ferries. Parking is a bit difficult due to the position of the hotel on the lake front, but the hotel has a deal with the local car park (under 10 min walk away) so you can get a free ticket to park in there for the duration of your stay. They also have small vans to ferry your luggage to the hotel free of charge. I would highly recommend this hotel. It is actually a 3 star hotel not a 1 star as stated on this website.
