"Just what i expect and more."

close to city centre, homely and good value for money. Rooms adequate and bar and breakfast area quaint, dog friendly too!

My only issue was not with the hotel but a cloned website in USA that took my booking and charged a service charge of £50, they then laid off the booking to booking.com so reservation made but stitched up really. Book on booking.com direct of if you go direct to hotel website do check you are on theirs and not the one that made to look identical to it.

"A lovely short break in a nice friendly hotel."

The staff were lovely and friendly. Very good breakfast. Hotel centrally located - very handy for the cathedral and town centre.

A magnifying mirror in the bathroom would have been useful.
