Palazzo Foti Hotel

We were there off season, still on the weekend it was very full of locals doing their promenade out front, so very noisy (even with the windows closed). Perhaps since it was off season, the hotel seemed empty. Never-the-less, the staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was fine - clean and pleasant. The bathroom was also good. We enjoyed the breakfast, too. While not "downtown" in the town area, it is in the beach area. There are a lot of restaurants and cafes steps from the door. We would stay there again, except that the WIFI did't work with any APPLE products. They said there was nothing they could do to make it work. That was inconvenient. We noticed they do seem to have parking at a nearby property.

Well the location is great near all cafe's and across the street from the beach. View rooms have a nice view...but.. Carpet in rooms is nasty, no eve turn down service, .... Things you would expect at a 4* place. They do have a few sister hotels where you can use their pool, but they are way down the beach a bit remote. I'm sure in season it's very noisy as on the main drag!

excellent room on seaview side whereas back not appealing. My single stay was off-season with limited service, and for that reason price: 93 euro seemed high. But good and comfortable stay

But i hope the night you choose is not friday, if you want to sleep before 12 midnight, the street gets so noisy that it gets into your room. And please really see the schedule for the parking because, when we arrived the street was full of cars parked and when we came back from going to walk around ours was the only one of course with parking ticket! and of course, the young gay over the reception desk didn't think that would be a matter of interest to advise us when we arrived, he was with his computer. The old town of Crotone deserves a little of uncomodity or unluxury.

This hotel was the worst experience of our month in Southern Italy!! It is rated a 4 star, but that must have been 20 years ago! The receptionist was rude and patronizing. The carpeting in our room was so stained and filthy that I put socks on to walk from the bed to the bathroom. We were charged the most we paid for ANY hotel in Italy, including 5 star locations. The breakfast was meager and unappetizing with flies circling the food. I would prefer to sleep in our car rather than stay here again. We should have been given a 50% discount for tolerating the service and room. Although the hotel is on the ocean front, the beach was littered with trash and graffiti is EVERYWHERE!

We stayed here two nights, it is the perfect location - watch the Passaggiata in the evening, and enjoy the tranquil view over the bay next morning. Friendly staff.
