Hotel Domu Incantada

Staff were helpful and polite and we found room nice and clean. Would stay here again.

Three of us stopped here a night whilst cycle touring around the island. During our 11 day trip we ate out every night and the fantastic evening meal we had here ranks amongst the very best. We each had a different dish and all were equally as good. The rooms are spacious and clean. The hotel is family run and the staff were friendly. The breakfast was good enough without being great. All in all we would definitely use again.

Une halte idéale pour séjourner à Muravera. Le cadre est très agréable au milieu des cultures d'agrumes, dans un silence reposant et pourtant à 5 minutes à pied du centre ville. Un petit déjeuner très correct et un service discret est professionnel. La cuisine est de bonne qualité. Le seul bémol concerne la douche. Comment avoir réussi à faire une douche si étroite et inconfortable dans une chambre si grande et confortable ?

Dés notre arrivée à l’Hôtel , nous a avons été agréablement accueillis par la Nona de l'établissement , l'endroit est plein de charme et calme , les chambres spacieuses , propres et bien équipées ( clim , frigo, télévision ) , bref que du bonheur !! Que vous dire de la table d’hôte ?? Excellente cuisine typique et familiale de Sardaigne et des plats servis par le gentil Roberto qui a tout fait par nous être agréable ! Cet endroit est à recommander . Bravo pour la qualité du service , nous reviendrons certainement !!!

We stayed here while on business in Muravera. Muravera is a small village in Sardinia and this is the best hotel for the area. The owner speaks English, there's free wifi and they have an onsite restaurant (it was closed for dinner when we came, but it's not their busy season either). They have orange groves onsite which smells really nice and makes for some delicious orange juice. Breakfast was cereal, yogurt, and homemade pastries. The room was clean and seems fairly new. The bathroom is small, but we didn't care. Great water pressure. There's also a mini fridge that they stocked with a huge bottle of water. The local restaurants are a real treat. We tried 2 different places. One is famous for their fresh fish. We had 5 courses of new and amazing fish dishes that we've never tried before. We tried a pizza place just down from the hotel for dinner and had some pretty good pizza. The language in the village is a mix of Spanish and Italian and barely anyone speaks English. We were lucky enough to be with someone from the area to help us out. The beach is about 3 miles away (this isn't a beach property- but rather a nice, friendly place to stay in Muravera). We felt like we had an authentic Sardinian experience on this short trip. The hotel is a 60 minute drive from the Cagliari airport and is a bit off the beaten path. Our stay (one night) was very peaceful and quiet- I think we were the only guests at the time.

The dogs from a lorry parking area were barking the whole night - no sleep to find. The breakfast: Only sweet cakes - No fresh fruits, no sausage, no cheese - we had to buy these in the supermarket. The rooms are large with a nano-size bathroom. The garden was full of garbage and the building and the surroundung looks like under construction. Very kind and helpful was the waiter in the restaurant.

We used booking.com and got this lovely hotel... Has anyone else had the misfortune of using bookings.com for a hotel booking only to find the hotel isn't completed? Then you'll want to use bookings.com for a stay at Domu Incantada, Sardinia - it fits the bill perfectly if you like noisy drainage equipment pumping 24 hours a day outside your room, or if you like views of a building site out the back window. Take a shower? No problem Mr Solley, just watch the water flow out of the foot basin over the floor! Turn the light on? Umm there maybe a light fixture going up soon? Exposed cables and air conditioning pipes? Then take a scenic stroll down the upstairs corridor. Most of the ground floor was boarded up.... We fled in fear after one sleepless night in a hot stuffy room with weak air con. Did we get a refund? No of course not the hotel charged us for the full 5 nights? Did Halifax visa help? No data protection we can't possibly contact the hotel and discuss your situation... this despite me writing to them to tell them they could share all the information they liked with bookings.com and Domu Craptada. Originally we were told we would only be charged for two nights (one night was a no show or fault with bookings.com website) after much complaining to bookings.com I was offered an International bank transfer for a full refund by the hotel if I cared to give them my bank details. I did not. So 6 weeks later, we have no refund and bookings.com still advertises the hotel! BUYER BEWARE. Rear of hotel...like a building site The view out of our front window....like a building site! The view out of our rear window....like a building site! Front entrance on left of drive...ike a building site! Boarded up incomplete ground floor rooms... The room up stairs that we were offered..sxxt! Corridor..sxxt Bamboo to hide rear "garden" Light fixture not fitted.. Shower basin blocked - i.e could only have 2 minute shower... Hole in wall plugged with paper... Hole in tiles plugged with paper... Roof not finished... steel rods... Too many more beautiful features to list. Come and get ripped off at Hotel Domu incantada -- Stay ONE night get charged for five...
