Relais & Chateaux Villa Crespi

さすがルレ エ シャトーのホテルでした。大奮発してよかったです。部屋は広く、バスタブは猫足でした。バルコニーからはオルタ湖が少し見えました。湖からも近いので、夕方湖畔をのんびり散歩しました。この散策もよい思い出になりました。是非お勧めしたいホテルです。機会があればまた泊まりたいです。場所柄自動車利用でないとアクセスしにくいところです。私たちはレンタカーを利用しました。ホテルの直前でなんとタイヤがパンクしてしまいました。困りましたが、ホテルのスタッフが直してくれて本当に助かりました。なお、サクロモンテは徒歩圏にあります。

This is a beautiful venue but feels more like an incredible restaurant with rooms. Whilst the reception team were super friendly I did not feel at home here. Breakfast is high quality but we were rushed; being told a number of times the buffet was going to close from our arrival at 10 (advertised until 10.30). No guidance as to what we could have. We ordered eggs but then saw the next day others having much more than this. A menu would help. Getting drinks outside of a meal time was an ordeal. I wanted to sit and drink a bottle of wine with my family at 6pm. Was told I could not have a wine list and the terrace was shut. It took a lot of insistence on my part to get a wine list and eventually a sommelier appeared to help. This should not be that difficult. The dinner experience was incredible but at over €1000 for the 3 of us with one shared bottle of €110 wine (the cheapest) I would hope so. Thankfully we read we could get a day at the hotels sister hotel with a pool and beach club. This was amazing and I will definitely go back to this hotel. Villa Crespi, whilst beautiful, was the wrong choice for us.
