Pombeira Hotel

Here to watch my son play futsal. Feels basic... almost impossible to find. Follow sign to residence pinto... another hotel and it’s behind that. Hotels.com have wrong post code. Could be lovely... needs a little investment but lady on reception was very helpful.

An unfortunate case of a hotel with a high potential to become an excellent place to stay but where everything seems to be done in a sloppy way. The rooms are very spacious, with a large bathroom and large closet, and are only a few, in the upper and lower floor of a row of some 10 small little houses in the back of the hotel. So when I saw them from the outside I expected a very nice place to stay...until I entered the room. It feels cold and bare, without the amenities and decor that make you feel cozy and welcome. TV is way too old, the closet is strangely configured, the floor is tiled and cold and the overall feel is of a place that was good 30 years ago but was not updated since then. A pity, since a good decorator could transform the rooms into 4-star quality with a small investment. Breakfast was ok but also felt insufficient.

O Atendimento é muito bom! Mas nossa experiência foi complicada com o colchão. Duro demais, televisor no quarto de tubo, muito antigo. E o pior de tudo um bom banheiro, porém o Box terrível! Hiper desconfortável para tomar banho e muito ruim para sair do box. Possui uma mureta muito alta e quem tem dificuldades com as pernas ou algum problema mínimo de mobilidade vai precisar de ajuda de terceiros. Os travesseiros também são péssimos. O lugar é bom, os quartos em si são amplos bons, a limpeza boa mas há uma atenção especial que deveria ser mais bem elaborada: Manutenção e o hóspede escolhe um hotel para dormir e dormir bem. Portanto as camas precisam de um Up Grade quanto aos colchões e travesseiros.

Very spacious for the price. Showers facilities good.

Medium level hotel, suited for traveling track drivers. WiFi works only in main building, not in the rooms.

We drove around for 20 minutes, unable to find the hotel, I thinnk it doesn't exist anymore or else they should really do something about their visibility/findability....

At the Pombeira we had the most spacious room of our trip - plus an entry-sitting room. Furnishings were quite new and complete, and the breakfast buffet was better than expected. Our friends had maintenance problems in their room - light bulbs missing and shower not functioning properly.
