The hotel has recently been renovated and combines the feel of a traditional chalet downstairs with all the facilities of a modern establishment in the rooms. The staff were all friendly and welcoming, which made our stay even more enjoyable. The position of the hotel in the centre of Crans Montana means that everything is on the doorstep. Guests at the hotel receive a 10% discount on all food and drink bought in the hotel, which meant we ate in the restaurant and enjoyed a typical Swiss menu.

The hotel seams to be newly renovated and is in good shape. The reception is very small and the staff was not explaining were to have breakfast. The rooms are very nice and comfortable. Big bathroom, good bed, fluffy carpet, a small divan and a balcony with the view above the street. In the basement of the hotel is also the bar/club Amadeus and this was the big minus, even we were on the 3rd floor we could hear the music and bass. The breakfast was very limited, only one kind of bread, only one cheese, no eggs. We were disappointed. Another thing was the ski and snowboard storage. This is a super small room in the entrance and the skis and snowboard did always fall to the floor and there was not enough space. We would try another hotel next time.

It's a large room, considering typical European hotels. It just need a refrigerator.
