La Vieille Bastide

charming old bastide very clean and well kept lits of little niches quaint provençal style excellent breakfast home produced yoghurt and jams plently of fresh fruit and nuts pruns to add to yoghurt- within walking distance of the town and a couple of good choices re restaurants but most closed on the Thursday we went. However we found the best one and had an amazing 3 course meal for just 35€ a head. Bed was basic but comfortable 1970’s/80’s bathroom advocado suite but clean.

on arrival didn’t get that warm welcome one was hoping for felt we were an inconvenience really although she wasn’t unkind or rude just felt as we were the only ones staying everything we asked about was too much. The Pool was great buu had a robot in it so i didn’t feel i could swim and felt I couldn’t ask if it could be removed either! Jacuzzi was 50€ for two so thought that wasn’t worth asking about either. very dated but ckean could be done in a more upti date provençal style if they had the budget but guessing its not that easy these days. Very well kept though. We were hoping we could stay on site to eat but again she said for twi people not worth opening the restauand I can understand that and actually looking at the menu and the 31€ a head Im really glad as the meal we had in the underwhelming village was the best meal in everyway we could have asked for- if we were ever to go to Flayosc again wed go to eat there! I like a nice comfy duvet but it was a blanket and sheet but was okay I guess.

Vennlig vertskap. Hyggelig atmosfære, velholdt sted og flott hage. Nydelig frokost, blant annet med hjemmelaget syltetøy.

Au calme, pas très loin de DRAGUIGNAN à 6 min. Accueil et cadre dans la pure tradition de l’hôtellerie française. Les propriétaires sont exigent et cela se ressent jusqu’au moindre détail. J’ai apprécié le petit-déjeuner quasi tout fait maison avec jus d’orange pressé. La literie est souple.

The place is nice, well kept and clean. Breakfast is simple with limited choice. The attention from the staff could be a little better but that may be just cultural differences. I’d give it a 7/10

Mauvaises odeurs dans la chambre. Odeur de moisissure. Horrible!! Le cadre à l’extérieur est vraiment joli. La patronne n‘est absolument pas compréhensible et arrangeante.

Et supert lite idyllisk hotell. Koselig vertskap med god frokost. Kort sagt, hotellet hadde ingen mangler og kan anbefales på det varmeste
