The dinner was reasonably good

The property itself is undeniably beautiful—an old building with real character and enormous potential. Unfortunately, that potential appears largely unrealized. The moment you walk through the main entrance, it becomes evident that the interiors are tired and badly in need of refurbishment. Much of the décor and furnishings look worn, dated, and neglected, giving the impression that the property has not received the level of maintenance or investment one would expect. The condition of the room was particularly disappointing. The towels looked heavily used and had a noticeable yellowish tint, which immediately raised concerns about cleanliness and proper laundering. Even more troubling was the bed linen, which appeared as though it might not have been freshly washed. It had an unpleasant odor that made the stay uncomfortable and certainly did not meet basic hospitality standards. Adding to the frustration, the television remote control was not functioning, meaning the TV was essentially unusable. While this might seem like a minor inconvenience on its own, combined with the other issues it contributed to an overall feeling of poor upkeep and lack of attention to guest experience. What made the situation even more disappointing was the price. This was, by far, the most expensive accommodation I stayed in during my Camino journey. Ironically, several other places along the route—charging roughly half the price—offered significantly better comfort, cleanliness, and overall value. Given the cost, one would reasonably expect a much higher standard. Sadly, the experience fell well short of expectations.

We stayed there several years ago, it is looking a bit dated and the decor needs to be refreshed.
