Quinta Sao Miguel de Arcos

Très bel hôtel Chambres très propres, jolies et confortables.

Nous avons passé un séjour inoubliable dans cette magnifique quinta, nichée au cœur de la nature portugaise. Le cadre est paisible, idéal pour se reposer loin de l’agitation, tout en restant proche des principaux sites touristiques. Les chambres sont spacieuses, très propres et décorées avec goût. Le jardin et la piscine offrent un espace parfait pour que les enfants puissent jouer en toute sécurité pendant que les adultes profitent du calme. Les hôtes sont chaleureux, toujours disponibles pour donner des conseils sur la région et partager de bonnes adresses locales. Nous avons particulièrement apprécié les petits déjeuners maison. Une adresse à recommander sans hésitation pour des vacances en famille au Portugal !

The staff are all very friendly and as helpful as they could be. All very busy all of the time as lots to do. The buildings and surrounding area are beautiful, best explored with a car as quite rural. The 2 pools at the hotel were very nice with some good games to use with our kids. The hotel was not too busy as most guests staying for only 1-2 nights so easy to have loungers and the pool to ourselves often over our 7 days stay.

We had 2 rooms. one room was a little cramped as a little too small for the furniture in it, so a little uncomfortable and not the room pictured in our offer. It did have a balcony, however, which was good for some extra space. The rooms had no aircon and because it was very hot while we were there this made it very difficult to sleep. We tried sleeping with windows and doors open which helped with temperature, but this meant it was very noisy with many many birds from 5am, loud church bells right next door from 6.35am motorbikes zooming by in early hours, etc. Not getting sufficient sleep really impacted our time here, sorry. We asked for a fan and one was provided, but we had to use this in our kids' room, so still no sleep for us, unfortunately. Its a shame as the place is really nice and we enjoyed it otherwise. We were assured that aircon would be installed in the rooms so hopefully not an issue for future guests.
