Beautiful old building, with clean rooms, nice shower. Breakfast was generous, and included decaf options. They provided a nice map of Ragusa. They were also nice about storing bags while we wandered for a bit.

Driving in Ragusa is a little tough, (no fault of the hotel!) We did find street parking eventually.

Nagyon kedves személyzet, minden kérdésre választ tudtak adni. Van a hotelnek egy ilyen régi, kastélyszerű hangulata, mintha megállt volna az idő. Érezni a családias légkört, a nagy belmagasság, a fa gerendák, a tulajdonos képei a falon teremt egy bensőséges hangulatot. A hotel étterme, ahol a reggeli is fel van szolgálva, nagyon jó. Házias, igazi autentikus finom ételek, látszik a szív, amit beletesznek. Az adagok hatalmasak és rettentő jó áron van minden, nagyon ajánlom.

Az egész szállodában és a szobában is hideg volt. Fűteni csak elektromosan lehet, ami ugyan működik, de az esti 2-3 fokkal nehezen bírkózott meg. A fürdő felújításra szorul. Nem volt kényelmes a hideg helyiségeket járni, főleg reggelinél. A reggeli bár szuper (kávé isteni), hihetetlen gyümölcs választékkal, hiányoltam a friss és meleg ételeket, mint pl. főtt tojás, rántotta. A hotel éttermének idősebb tagjai nem beszélnek angolul. A hotel előtti parkoló ingyenes, de nagyon szűk, sokat kellett manőverezni, mire be tudtunk állni.

Аутентичный и очень красивый отель. В старом городе. Припарковались на улице. Поужинали в ресторане отеля - цены очень демократичные. Завтрак очень понравился.

Достаточно прохладно было. Хотя работал обогреватель.

I stayed at the hotel il Barocco for a week over Christmas as part of a walking/sightseeing group. It’s a small family run hotel centrally situated in a quiet side street in Ragusa Ibla. It has every facility but is more traditional than ultra modern. The management and staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and comfortable although the bed was a little on the hard side for my liking but I slept well. The rooms had a small fridge and a kettle for making tea or coffee, a hairdryer and were well equipped. The shower was always hot. The WiFi was good. My ground floor single room only had a tiny balcony overlooking a quiet backstreet but some double rooms on an upper floor had a larger balcony with a view over the town. There was a pleasant lounge to relax in before dinner and a bar. The buffet breakfast was superb and tea and coffee was made to order. Local products were provided and delicious home made cakes! The hotel provided us with a traditional evening meal on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. It was very good but there was just too much food with several courses! On the other evenings we ate at local restaurants only a short stroll away. There was an attractive courtyard terrace in front of the hotel that must be very pleasant during warmer months. I recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a cosy, friendly small hotel centrally situated in Ragusa Ibla.
