Amazing hotel. Amazing staff. Beautiful view! What else could you ask for? Breakfast delivered every morning to your room -and the food is amazing! Staff was so helpful. Room was just off the chart beautiful even with Salvedor Dali Paintings! Loved the bathroom cave! Everything they do is above and beyond in my opinion!

BEWARE WHEN BOOKING! The view is not as seen in the photos. There is a large pole, wires and door blocking the caldera view. When we spoke with the staff they said this was put up after the photos were taken. Very disappointing as our main reason for booking a caldera view was a full caldera view. The staff was able to move us for 3 of our 5 nights to another room with a better view but the wires, pole and door still blocked a full view. (Again, in all of the online Expedia and their website photos there was a full caldera view.) Although we appreciated the move it required moving twice-one night in our booked room, 3 nights in the other room then back to our room. The rooms are gorgeous, the staff is awesome, breakfasts delicious but I wouldn't recommend this hotel because of the obstructed view. We were so disappointed. There was also no form of reimbursement. We asked but they wouldn't do it.

We found that our hotel was in an excellent position for access to all the best restaurants recommended by the staff, both for Imerovigli and Firastefani. The accommodation was first class and suited our requirements. The staff were most welcoming and assisted us in every requirement, especially in choosing the restaurants and shops. As long as we chose to visit Fira when there were hardly any cruise ships it was fine so we picked where we were visiting depending on the number of cruise ships. We would most certainly go again to the same accommodation.

The hotel is amazing but the front desk is terrible. When we first arrived we were met by a younger woman working the front desk who appeared to be wearing pajamas and dressed like a hippie! We were shocked that such a luxury hotel would have someone dressed like her to represent their hotel. Although she was cordial, she was not friendly and certainly did not seem to care about her job or the hotels guests. She didn’t give any useful information and didn’t ask us anything about our stay. We requested for her to book an airport transfer for us at check out and she informed us it would cost 36 euros for a private transfer, we agreed and booked it. The day of the transfer, we were duped into paying 35 euros for a shuttle bus with other passengers. We called the hotel and another woman working the front desk had a terrible attitude and was useless. We almost missed our ferry and paid for a private taxi so we could get there on time. We were so disappointed in this hotels staff that we would never recommend the hotel to anyone.

Amazing place to stay! The views are breathtaking and the staff was incredibly helpful getting us around the island with transfers and helping us book ATVs. The room was exactly as the pictures showed and we could not have been happier. We stayed in the Nefeli Suite and enjoyed breakfast on our patio each morning and the hot tub each evening. Thank you for a fantastic stay! We will be back
