Azzurretta

This is a small B&B with only 4 rooms in an old palazzo located in the center of the city. Trullo, the host is very animated and enthusiastic. The rooms are rustic but roomy. There isn't an elevator so our luggage was taken up in a large canvas bag using a pulley! It was efficient and also amusing! The breakfast of fresh breads, pasties, tomatoes & yogurt is plentiful and very good. Be advised that only shampoo & body gel are provided in small packets. My only negative was the hand held shower head which would not stay in the holder so had to be placed behind the pipe to keep from falling.

Set in a 500 year old palazzo right in the centre of this delightful city, the rooms are spacious and provide a fridge and free bottled water. An enormous fresh breakfast is served on the roof terrace. The host loves what he does and goes out of his way to provide information. He also arranges tours and the highlight of our week was a wonderful day with him exploring the coastal towns and their hidden treasures. He knew a great deal more than the driver of he official tour we took.

This is a lovely B&B in the heart of Lecce. There are only 4 rooms, and they are all spacious, stylish and very clean. There is a superb roof terrace (up quite a few steep steps), where a delicious breakfast is served every morning. The host, Tullio is passionate about the B&B and his energy and enthusiasm for life are infectious. We really enjoyed our stay.

We stayed here for two nights in September 2020. The building itself dates from the 16th century so there is no lift but the stairs are wider and easy to climb, and it is incredible to stay in a building with so much history behind it. Tullio greeted us warmly and explained all we needed to know about the property, the room and even the local area. He provided a fantastic map with details of the local sites, great restaurants and even the wider area. Our room was spacious, bright and airy. There was a mini-fridge and safe in the room. The bed was comfortable and a great shower. One of the highlights of the property for me was the roof terrace where you can have breakfast or a drink overlooking the beautiful city of Lecce, watching the sun go down. We would definitely stay here again.

We spent two nights in this B&B. The beds were comfortable and there was plenty of hot water. The host Tullio was very helpful. Breakfast on the roof terrace was enjoyable. Parking was some distance away. The location is excellent for touring the old town. The district is very I interesting to visit.

Tullio is a perfect host. Friendly and welcoming. With knowledge of Lecce and Puglia for your holiday. The B&B is in a Pallazzo combined with other B&B’s but our view is that Azzurretto is the best. A big room, a fridge, a balcony. Breakfast on the terrace is wonderful. Views of the City, tomato. Coffee, croissants, fruit juice and fruit, cakes. You can got to the terrace anytime with a book, a beer or a sandwich to relax during the day. We had a wonderful 7 days in this lovely part of Italy.

We had a really spacious , clean and nicely decorated room with a fridge , tea and coffee making facilities and sofa area. A very tasty breakfast was served on the roof terrace which was a lovely area Tullio was an excellent host even making us coffee whilst we were on the roof terrace chilling out before a late in the day flight home.

We had a fantastic stay with Tullio, everything was very clean and the rooms were amazing!. Tullio is a superb host and a wealth of information about Lecce and the surrounding area. The building is beautiful and the rooftop terrace is stunning. A great location to see all the historic center or Lecce and walking distance to a thousand different restaurants, cafes and bars.

A great B&B. Beautifully clean and appointed rooms. Very welcoming host Tullio who was so helpful with car-parking and restaurant advice! Would definitely recommend it! Lecce is a lovely city with a lovely feel to it. Enjoy!

It's a very nice place to stay...very comfortable and beautiful..the rooms are ok and clean ...the area is so good and it is near to most of the important places to visit so there was no problem with distance etc....the owner is very kind, generous and friendly he can give you all the information you need even the unexpected ones ..I really loved that :) ....I will surely return if I have another chance
