Gulevi Safranbolu Heritage Hotel

A wonderful hotel with an excellent location, the manager and the staff were extremely helpful and friendly. I’d highly recommend this hotel

Beautiful traditional building with a very cosy room. The breakfast was delicious with much to eat, the menemen especially was particularly tasty. Perfect location right next to the historical city. The staff were also always very kind (free cups of tea!) and ready to help, definitely would come back again!

Beautiful property! Perfectly preserved historical house with modern amenities (renovated bathrooms, lovely garden for lounging, etc.). The staff were also wonderful and so kind to our toddler and dog. It does get quite hot in Safranbolu in summer and there was no AC in our room, which wasn’t an issue for us but could be a problem for some. I also would not recommend this hotel (or Safranbolu generally) for anyone with mobility issues. But we had a great stay and I would happily return.

Excellent accueil de Hasan qui a tout fait pour nous rendre le séjour agréable, notamment la recommandation du restaurant Tasev et le raki dans le charmant jardin de l’hôtel. Our family of 4 spent two nights here, and I would highly recommend it to other families. We had a spacious two room suite, with large bathroom, including tub and double sinks. We loved access to the beautiful garden, with sofas in the shade, to relax, read, play cards. The location couldn't be better for exploring the old town. Service was impeccable, from check in, to helping with luggage, serving drinks and anything else we could need. The generous Turkish breakfast was delicious, with strong coffee, homemade preserves, local cheese and much more. The perfect getaway from Ankara, we can't wait to return, tesekkurler!

It’s location and the kindness of its staff

wonderful place, pleasant and comfortable. The interior restauration is excellent, resembles how life would have been in a 100 years old ottoman house ... but you'd find a power plug in the right place, air-conditioning or heating when you need them. I especially loved the door locks, latches and the humongous handles :)

It was a very good stay in every aspect.
