Wonderful hospitality. We were treated very kindly, from being shown to the off site parking to a fresh breakfast every day. Highly recommended.

Cannot say enough nice things about our stay. They were kind, helpful and genuinely did anything and everything to make our stay spectacular. So enjoyed the well kept secret of Sulmona!! If you are in the area or perhaps not, it is worth the diversion to truly feel the vibe of a smaller Italian town; highly recommend!!

Breakfast, friendly, hard-working staff

We really enjoyed our stay, very centrally located, great staff were super friendly and helpful, accommodations were well maintained. It was really great.

Everything was great, might say my only complaint is that the room lacked anywhere to put your stuff, a couple tiny tables, no luggage racks, no shelves, no hooks…only a small shelf in the closet but mostly occupied by a refrigerator. We had to put everything in the floor…not a problem on a one night stay, but hard to get comfortable when staying 5 nights and having to pick up everything off the floor every day for the housekeeper. Again, that would be the only negative, and would definitely stay there again.

Hotel com excelente localização. O café da manhã é nota 1.000. O atendimento pessoal dos donos é muito simpático. Infelizmente a cama é o único ponto que não nos agradou, pois a suíte que reservamos deveria ter cama king size, mas a cama era padrão.

This is a family run hotel in the heart of Sulmona- a great launch pad for activities in the National Park. The proprietors were amazing. They helped us make dinner reservations, bike tours, & find parking. The breakfast is diverse & tasty. The rooms are very comfortable & clean.

There are a lot of stairs- fine for me, but a little tough for my parents. Although, Roberto put my parents in a room will suited to their mobility issues. There are stand up showers. Again, fine for most guests but difficult for me with a baby. I used the shower in my parents’ room, which was bigger.

From the moment I arrived, I was warmly welcomed and made to feel like a valued guest. The owners went above and beyond to ensure that every aspect of my stay was perfect, always ready to assist with a genuine smile. The room I stayed in was both elegant and spacious, providing a comfortable and luxurious atmosphere. The attention to detail in the room's design was evident, and it was impeccably clean and well-maintained. The decor exuded sophistication, making it a relaxing retreat after a day of exploring. One of the highlights of my stay was the private terrace. It was an absolute delight to have such a cozy and comfortable outdoor space. I spent several peaceful mornings and evenings there, enjoying the fresh air and the beautiful surroundings. The breakfast served at the hotel was excellent. There was a wide variety of fresh and delicious options to choose from, and everything was beautifully presented. It was clear that great care was taken in preparing each dish, making breakfast a delightful start to the day. Overall, I cannot recommend this hotel enough. The combination of outstanding hospitality, elegant accommodations, and excellent amenities made for an unforgettable stay. I will definitely be returning!

We stayed at Stella Casa Bono while we looked around at areas in Abruzzo for a possible holiday house. The staff was so friendly and so helpful. We stayed in the junior suite with the balcony, clean, comfortable, and easy to get around the historic area of Sulmona. Breakfast each morning was wonderful and lots of help while we were there. I would strongly recommend this bed-and-breakfast.

The room was comfortable, spacious and well appointed, and importantly cool despite the high temperatures outside. The en suite bathroom was equally spacious. Breakfast was lovely and the location really good. But the best thing was the attentiveness of the owners, Roberto and Giuseppe, who were both so helpful.

Genuinely nothing but - as clearly advertise and like most historic properties in Italy, the property has no lift.
