II Virrey

Mi habitacion era bastante mas sobria que las que salen en las fotografias, ni tenia escritorio, ni calzadora, mucho mas pequeña de lo que parece en las fotos, el baño muy amplio eso si y renovado, con una decoración actual, diferente a la habitacion que tiene un aire clásico. La habitacion muy tranquila y no escuche ruido ni de pasillo ni de otras habitaciones ni de la calle, quitando las campanadas del reloj del Ayuntamiento pero contra eso no se puede hacer nada. La cama comoda y el personal amabilisimo en todo momento. Algunas cosas estan anticuadas y necesitan mantenimiento.

Muy céntrico. Única pega igual faltaba algún enchufe en el escritorio para el pc. Habitación amplia, TV un poco pequeña

Lo mejor ubicación y habitaciones reformadas en la primera planta. Lo peor que en las habitaciones que dan a la carretera hay algo de ruido con el paso de los coches.

Tuvimos un pequeño contratiempo en el registro de entrada, ya que a través de Hoteles.com solicitamos cama de matrimonio , i no tenían en la recepción constancia de esa petición. Conscientes de la no comunicación al cliente, al día siguiente nos ofrecieron cambiar de habitación. Desayuno bien, algo escaso y poco variado para la categoria del hotel (siendo consciente de la situación especial de las medidas de protección). Personal amable en general, aunque la atención al cliente podría mejorar.

The hotel has so much character and charm, and the location right on the plaza mayor is perfect. Staff were helpful and friendly, and the free parking was close and easy to access. The breakfast was perhaps the best we had in Spain. We loved our stay at Il Virrey and are happy to recommend it to others.

Beautiful interior,and located in a fascinating Town.

This hotel is very conveniently located on the edge of the old town. You literally go out the back entrance of the hotel and you pop out in the old town square along the major strolling and shopping street where you can find restaurants, cafes, shops selling tourist stuff, but also used by locals. The hotel staff could not have been more disinterested in assisting us, which was very unusual in our experience throughout Spain. They were dismissive, bored, and unhelpful (e.g. we only discovered when we got our bill in the morning that breakfast was included--too late, we had already eaten). The lobby is very funky -- random 'old' stuff hanging on every wall, a dusty two-story chandelier in the middle of a two story staircase, window display of all things porcine. This had a certain has-been charm. The room was small, but comfortable enough. Walls were thin, so you hear what's going on in the hallway. No window view of any interest. Much of the hotel seems to face the main road. Not a room to hang out in, but okay for a night's sleep.

We enjoyed being right in the square of this old city. The atmosphere of the hotel with all its antiques was very special. The staff were friendly and helpful and parking the car was easy.

his was the best hotel we stayed in on our journey to La Manga. It was very Spanish with a grand staircase up to a great room with a four poster bed, overlooking the bustling tables outside the bar/snack bar. Another traveller mentioned the noise from the plumbing of other rooms. This we heard but did not disturb us at all. We have nothing but good to say about this hotel. We ate at a nearby restaurant where the staff were friendly and the food superb!
