Hotel La Casa sul Mare

The hotel is in a beautiful location, with a charm and authenticity so rare in today's world. Mornings with breathtaking views of the sea, the church and the island houses in ice-cream colours, and then breakfast in the beautiful garden, served with genuine hospitality by the hotel manager's son, Piero... with homemade lemon and orange marmalade, yoghurt, freshly squeezed juices and even scrambled eggs, made a la chef:) ... Everything there seemed as a scene from a romantic nostalgic movie .... A house on an island of beauty, tranquillity and inspiration, where I would like to return as soon as possible

Piero and team were exceptional. We loved our stay, it was such a beautiful spot with balcony views of the harbour and ocean, just stunning 😍

Lovely! Comfortable and well thought out room. Helpful staff, good breakfast on a pretty terrace - and the most glorious sea/harbour view from our balcony. Excellent restaurants a short (steep!) walk away.

This place is all about the views. We loved waking up and having the view of fishermen arriving. Loved the staff.

It has a lovely slightly dated old world charm and a fabulous Position, .. with really stunning views from your terrace, and from the breakfast garden....the area still feels unspoilt as it's not in the very touristed main port. It's right next to the beautiful church Santa Maria delle Grazie and charming piazza dei Martiri which is still much frequented by the locals and not yet given over to tacky tourists shops. It's a very short walk to the lovely little Marina Corricella. The bus stops nearby which goes to the main Port, which is also easily walkable for an evening stroll or even to get the ferry, no need for a taxi.

I really loved everything: But considering the price I had expected a bit more ?.. finesse in the facilities? so initially I was a little disappointed,. But that said... I'm only just getting used to the prices everywhere in 2023, so on checking out other places on the island this was pretty good value by comparison and I would stay again.
