Château-Hôtel de Bourron

Room was comfortable, clean and nicely appointed.

Was not in chateau, restaurant not open and we weren’t tons so had to pay for taxis to get to restaurant.

We booked this expecting to stay in the chateau …..only to be housed in the stables. Very disappointed….as it wasn’t a good deal for the price paid with no breakfast. Stables comfortable but not what we we’re expecting so very disappointed

No fridge and no ice available on very hot day of 38degrees …..no staff available for check out ……

Everything. The place is amazing, like from a story and the staff extremely friendly, accommodating and helpful.

Nothing to mention.

It was a nice stay but the breakfast and amenities are a little below the par especially for the price that we paid. It was nice to walk around and admire the chateau but that is all

Breakfast was basically croissant and baguette. No eggs, etc. and doesn’t start till late like I think 730am or 8am. No pool. Bar wasn’t open and of course no restaurant. If you don’t have a car to drive around, not sure you will be stuck there.

A beautiful chateau with loads of charm.

We booked the stand alone cottage and it was like any overflow of furniture or kitchen ware was simply put in to make it feel well equipped.

This is a very special hotel in a historic mansion. Everything is very beautiful and clean — staying here is truly a wonderful experience.

There was no kettle in the room for tea or coffee,and the breakfast was a bit limited .

The stay was amazing; you could really tell they paid attention to every detail in the room. It was very beautiful and cozy, with robes, plenty of towels, and a lot of space. Everything showed a great deal of care and attention to detail. Plus, the castle itself was beautiful, and you could have breakfast, walk around, and enjoy a huge park inside the grounds. They even had bicycles for you to ride, and the restaurants were incredible. The two closest restaurants were within walking distance, and there were other amazing options as well. the staff was also very kind and always attentive.
