GBWe spent a few night at the hotel as a part of our honeymoon. The level of service (especially at the restaurant thanks for the "pelinkovec' reccomendation) was above expectation. Bohinj is a more remote more suttle and mor naturesque version of lake Bled which we rather enjoyed as keen outdoor persons. We will be back!
The only downside we could say is the air condition unit as it was fitted to our balcony which was a little loud when it was operating.
CZIn our case, the location offered a beautiful view of the lake. The room was very well insulated from the heat, and the roof above the terrace was also very effective in keeping the area cool. Even though the outside temperature was around 28°C, we did not need to use the air conditioning. The swimming pool was around 20–25 metres long, so it was also suitable for proper swimming. There was a locked storage area for bicycles, which was very convenient. Free parking was available, and the breakfast offered a varied selection that changed slightly from day to day.
The swimming pool had rather unusual opening hours, from 7:00 to 9:00 in the morning and then again from 14:00 to 20:00. It would have been nice if it had been available for a longer period during the day. Breakfast could have offered more vegetables. Overall, I did not feel that the breakfast reached the same standard as in many Austrian or German hotels, although I definitely cannot say that I left hungry.
