A Casa di Sandra

Ho soggiornato in questo b&b per una notte con mio marito e nostra figlia di 3 anni dopo aver trascorso una giornata a Venezia. La struttura è immersa nel verde, la camera molto spaziosa e confortevole, bagno privato grande e comodo. La pulizia è stata impeccabile e la colazione ricca e curata. La signora Sandra è stata molto cordiale e disponibile.Assolutamente consigliato!!

comfortable and clean room and house, very gentle owner, breakfest as you like. I recomend this place to anyone who would like to visit Venice.

Absolutely happy that I picked this place. Near Venice but not crowded and free parking. Hostess was very friendly and supporting and I had actually all floor in use-big bedroom´and bathroom. So-reccommended for all. Romantic or non-romantic people-fits for all!

nous avons été accueilli par la propriétaire des lieux qui se débrouille en français. Après la visite de notre chambre il m'a été offert très gentiment un café ainsi qu'un thé pour mon épouse.Ce B&B est très bien situé pour visiter ou après la visite de Venise.La chambre est très grande et confortable. C'est calme car au bord d'une route secondaire sans grande circulation. Le petit déjeuner était copieux avec croissants et pain avec en prime des gâteaux maison. Nous avons été enchanté par cette soirée à Mirano..Vous pouvez choisir ce B&B sans vous poser de questions.Merci encore à Sandra

Sandra and Jessica were just wonderful! I cannot say enough good things about how nice they were. They went out of their way to make sure that we would not get lost during our visit of Venice. The room was nice, large, clean, and comfortable. Thanks Sandra!

Sandra was a very friendly and gracious hostess. We were able to use the kitchen to eat our dinner when we arrived late in the evening. The train station is a few kilometers away, with free parking, so it was very easy to get to Venice. Others have said you need a GPS to find her house - we didn't have GPS and we arrived after dark, so it was definitely difficult to find the street she lives on (the street name is abbreviated on the sign and can really only be seen when heading east, but we were going west). I had a map so was able to turn around at the next light when we realized we'd gone too far, but her house was also further up the street than expected. Once we knew where it was, there was no problem getting there. We didn't have hot water in the shower, but we also didn't try to address it with her. We may have missed something in how to get the hot water... Everything was clean and we enjoyed staying outside of Venice. Breakfast was simple, but good, as others have said. We were also happy to have a safe place to park the car (her home is gated).

Chambre grande (sous le lit il y avait des papiers de sandwich d'anciens vacanciers), avec mini frigo (des moisissures dedans), wc et sdb grand mais pommeau de douche pas de pression donc dur à se laver correctement. Cuisine à disposition mais on ne peut pas vraiment faire à manger. Chambre d'hôte proche gare pour aller à Venise, proche commerces.

We hadden een kort verblijf bij Sandra voor een bezoek aan Venetië. De B&B licht op enkele minuten afstand van het station en in iets meer dan een half uur sta je in Venetië. De kamer is eenvoudig maar gezellig ingericht. Helaas is WiFi ontvangst in de kamer marginaal. Hetzelfde geldt voor het ontbijt wat naar ons idee minimaal is (tenzij Italianen prima overleven op enkel een paramilitaire crackers?).

If you want to experience local Italian life, this is the place to do it. It's in a very rural setting but the area is nice and quiet. Sandra was a wonderful host. She made us breakfast each morning and recommended a fantastic local restaurant to go to. She has 2 dogs a bit on the energetic side, but were kept in a separate area once we arrived. From here, you will need to get the train into Venice but it's a quick drive to the train station and about a 25 minute train ride in. Thought it was a great value for the money.

The hostess is very nice, English is limited but is quite enough for providing the information about what to see, how to get and so on. Call before hand so the hostess picks you up from the closest station cuz it is about an hour walk from the closest bus stop. The bus stop is Mirano, train station is Dolo. The hostess always drives you to the train station in the morning and picks you up in the evening.
