B&B Luana Inn Airport

Clean and quiet room and area but no breakfast as advertised. Had to even pay for coffee in the morning

Stayed on an overnight before picking up someone from an early flight. Was easy to find via car, and ten minutes to the airport. Not sure how easy it would be to get a taxi/shuttle. I arrived late-930 pm but they were very nice and helpful in meeting me to hand over keys etc. There was food put out for people who had early flights, and looked like they cooked a breakfast later on in the morning. Overall a good stay. Only complaint was the room was cold and I couldn't find a heater to turn on, but just a minor complaint and there was plenty of hot water for a nice shower in the morning. Great value for money.

The room slept three, was clean, host friendly. The experience at the associated restaurant was outstanding. Neighborhood was quiet and in general met our expectation.

We had a very comfortable night. The host cooked us a lovely dinner, and he Magde and his good wife were gracious hosts. They even arranged a taxi to the airport the next morning.

I never write these reviews but the Luana bed and breakfast will forever be my favorite little bed and breakfast. The people were incredibly friendly and extremely helpful! I wouldn't want to stay anywhere but here when arriving and departing from Rome. It is great for an early flight out of Rome's airport! LOVE THIS CUTE LITTLE PLACE!

It was easy to get there, the place was quite, clean and comfy. I will use it next time in Rome.

Very satisfactory close to the boatyard where i was viewing a boat for sale and a very good restaurant run by the owner close by.

We enjoyed our stay here. Hosts are very nice, room was very nice as well. Location is a little far from the airport but we would stay there again.

While the owner is friendly and well-meaning, I would not recommend this hotel. The staff is not on site, so you must provide the time when you will arrive at the inn. We didn't know when exactly we would be coming in so we made arrangements to just check in with them at their restaurant around the corner. In the 6 emails we traded back and forth, the owner failed to mention that the restaurant would be closed on Sunday and no one would be available at the inn either. I had to go to the hotel on the next block to use their phone. After a long day of travel and an expensive cab ride (20E, flat rate) it was a bad first impression to wait 20 minutes before being able to get in. To keep this from getting too long- Positives: TV and fridge in room Bathtub big enough for 2 (no shower curtain though) Quiet neighborhood Walking distance to a couple good restaurants Plenty of hot water Clean bathroom and room Free cappaccinos and coffees (from machine) and water Negatives: No staff at the inn No internet on site (I think that you can get wifi on the patio, but this was lost in translation and it sounded like they said there is only dial up in this area, not 100% sure) Bed was cheap and thin (you feel the springs) They said that the only way to get there was by cab. There is very spotty bus service, but it wasn't mentioned. However, cabs to and from the airport cost a fixed 20 E. So if you find a hotel for 40 E more but has a free airport shuttle, it's comparable. Breakfast was packaged pastries and some tarts that are left out all day and night. I tried 2 croissants that were terrible and a slice of tart. The owner told me that I could have as much as I wanted for breakfast, not worth eating. No phone on site This place was much more hassle than it was worth. Perhaps if we spoke Italian some of the annoyances and miscommunications could have been avoided, but the only reason to stay here is because you are traveling to/from the airport, and the last thing you need is more hassles when you are flying. I would not recommend this inn at all to non-Italian speaking travelers. Honestly, all I wanted was a bed and breakfast, and both of those items were disappointing.

This is a resonable place to stay near the FCO airport (about 5 minutes). There really isn't much reason to be there otherwise. The owners are very friendly and helpful. We had a triple with plenty of room. The breakfast was decent (by European standards) with unlimited Cappuccinos. You park on the street.
