Hotel La Media Luna

The staff was OK but the hotel 's amenities, decor, etc. are all extremely basic. The bed was uncomfortable with a bare bones mattress (no spring mattress, this was an old-school strip of materials, that's it) and creaked all the time. There's an analog TV with no remote and no cable. (the TV reception seemed as if there was no antenna attached even). There is no phone. But, perhaps this is all one must expect at the low price charged. We booked this hotel as nothing else was available and I would not choose to go back here again.

We stayed around new years and, thus, the room rate was probably a bit higher than normal (just over $100 USD per night). Though the room was large (2 bedrooms with a kitchen) the room was not at all comfortable. The bathroom was a bit of a mess with mold growing on the wall in the shower. The location, however, is very good, as it is very close to some of the better restaurants and night life in San Cristobal. If I were to do it again, I would have stayed further north in the city.

Great place, in the middel of the centre. The room is clean and the people were frendly. The bed was a little hard.

Zimmer sind um einen Innenhof platziert. WLAN gut. Zimmereinrichtung ausreichend, kostenloses Mineralwasser. Touren sollte man in einem Büro in der Stadt buchen, da diese vom Hotel teurer angeboten werden. San Cristobal selbst? Die hohe Abgasbelastung durch die ständigen Verkehrsstaus nimmt der Stadt ihren Charme, aber dafür kann das Hotel nichts.

El personal fue muy amable. Las habitaciones son agradables. El cuarto de baño es un poco vetusto. El hotel está muy bien ubicado.

Great location a few steps from Andador Turístico and walkable from the bus terminal. I asked for a quiet room and had one right at the back. A bit dark but otherwise perfect and spacious. I could check in early which was great.

Hotellet er ikke trestjernet, højst 2 stjerner. Trænger til opfriskning. Restaurant indbyder ikke til brug. Ingen spiste morgenmad eller andet i de 4 dage vi var der.

Hôtel difficile d'accès en voiture, compte tenu des axes piétonniers et des sens uniques. L'établissement n'offre pas de stationnement contrairement à d'autres hôtels proches et moins chers. Les chambres sont organisées autour d'une cour intérieure couverte. Bien pour isoler des bruits de la rue, mais cela fait de l'écho et on peut profiter des ronflements issus de la chambre à 20 mètres... Par ailleurs, pas de clim, on aère en ouvrant la petite fenêtre sur la cour intérieure. Le lit matrimonial doit faire à peine 120 cm de large, et sur un détestable sommier métallique, sorti tout droit des années 70.

El hotel está ubicado paralelo al inicio de la calle peatonal en donde se encuentran muchos restaurantes y tiendas; también se encuentra a tres cuadras del centro de San Cristobal. Los cuartos son muy lindos (comparten el estilo de San Cristobal, en general) y bastante tranquilo el ambiente. Por el buen precio y ubicación sin duda lo recomiendo.
