Breakfast was delicious, ataff was vwry friendly

This was a comfortable hotel which, once access had been achieved, was in a great location for foot touring. Our room was good with a spacious balcony. Reception staff members were cheery and helpful throughout our stay. The laundry service was uncommonly easy to use and swift.

The hotel offers no baggage service. We had to carry our bags for quite some distance (several hundred metres) from the taxi drop-off point. This was over uneven surfaces too. The hotel signage was confusing with another nameplate more visible than that of the hotel. This led to us missing the hotel the first time round. Multiple sms messages sent by the hotel prior to arrival did more to confuse than help - for example referring to street names where no street signs appeared. We had no access to the roof top (pictured in the selling images). It was only by bumping into a waiter with another resident and a key that we knew that we could only get onto the rooftop if we had a dinner booking, At no time or place was this told to us. Rooftop access was one of the main reasons for us having booked there!

Location was convenient, room was spacious. Othe 1st night there was no heat inthe room.inituallly they said they don't turn it on till later in the season. However for the remainder of the stay the heat was turned on

Excellent breakfast and dinner provided

The location is second to none. It’s in the old city of Split, adjacent to the Diocletian Palace. It’s a small hotel with a limited number of rooms which is great. The rooms were small but clean and comfortable. A little bit noisy if the windows were open but not too bad. Friendly helpful staff. Decent breakfast, although not great.

The breakfast choices could be better, especially the ingredients for omelettes. The bread and croissants were excellent, the choice of fruit pretty good. Choice of cereal very limited.

The location of this hotel is fantastic. It is right in the centre of the old palace and close to the bus and ferry. The interior is very modern and clean. My only real problem with the room is that the bed was extremely uncomfortable. My husband and I both woke up with sore backs. We stayed two nights. There was a lot of noise outside until after midnight on the first night. The second night was quieter. We had supper in the connected restaurant. Absolutely delicious!

Very hard to find. No door help to carry luggage up 2 flights of stairs. Very small room and no real amenities.
