We stayed in a "premium" room with a bathroom and it was a beautiful and spacious room. The hotel staff was very friendly. The breakfast wasn't really good (e.g. coffee was instant), so we ate out. However, the location is perfect.

Very clean ,comfortable ,centrally located hotel with helpful friendly staff in St Petersburg

Good location and for a Mini-Hotel very comfortable. We did however have the largest room with en suite facilities, some rooms had to share bathrooms. Limited range of breakfast foods but still adequate. Staff very good in all respects and willing to help with any problems which made up for any shortfalls of the hotel. Biggest problem was finding the place as the entrance is around the corner in a different street from the published address. Even taxi drivers struggled to find it.

Hotel Nouvelle is a serious bargain in a very expensive city. The rooms are spotless and beds are comfortable. The shared bathrooms are clean & not at all uncomfortable. Ample breakfast is included, and laundry is available by the extremely accommodating staff. Both the day & night staff did everything they could to make our stay in Petersburg an easy one. The hotel is a bit far from the center, but a short cab or long walk will get you back quickly. We would stay again!

Charming small hotel that's located approximately 15 minutes from Nevsky Prospekt and the metro, as well as walking distance to most of the sights. Good breakfast and a clean room. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. They spoke Russian, English and French. They even brought me roses on international women's day!!!

Friendly staff. Good location, only about a 15-20 minute walk from the "Moscow" Train Station.

The service was impeccable. The front desk personnel, especially Nadia, did everything to makemy stay a joy. I'd stay there again any time.

Not very good location and surrounding neighbourhood - about 20 minutes to Nevsky Prospect and 24hours wine shop across the road. Once we could not get in because of the group of drunk youngsters near this shop. Hard to find the entrance to the hotel. Very poor breakfast, definitely, not 'full' one. We 've booked twin beds but got one double. And finally the bathroom locker in our suit was broken, so we were guarding each other.
