The room was really great

The parking was out of the way and a bit sketchy.

Very reactive staff, clean rooms, excellent location.

Location, value for money, convenience of having a kitchenette, clean, newly renovated room, friendly, resourceful owner Turgay

No safety deposit box in my room (at least I was a domestic Canadian tourist w/o a passport), ragged The Shining-esque carpet on the entry staircase

Staff were very friendly and the rooms are outdated but it is still very nice and it was a comfortable stay.

Location and person working the front desk

Owner/ manager was very helpful in obtaining a taxi at 4am. Even got up to bring the driver to our room. Also knowledgeable on local eateries and places to go.

Area has a lot of homeless and beggars, but in all fairness all of Montreal that we saw had this issue.

I wouldn't stay here again. Room smelled musty and like someone had been smoking in it. Bathroom sink didn't drain properly. Coffee maker had been used and not cleaned in our room. Took at least 10 minutes to get any hot water. Parking is sketchy in the back alley which is dirty and disgusting - rats! Had to call a few times to have them move cars to let us in and out. For $30 "with in and out privileges", that's not really how it should work. Lots of homeless people but they were harmless - Montreal is a big city - you're going to have that anyway. Not accessible at all with the stairs - it won't work for strollers or anyone with a mobility challenge. I will say staff were friendly - just doing the best they can with what they have to work with. Once was enough for us.
