"Friendly place to stay"

10.0

We had a lovely time and especially enjoyed breakfast on the terrace. The pension is a very friendly place. The only drawback is that the town centre is noisy and you can hear it in your room.

"Very helpful and friendly hotel owner."

10.0

A lovely little hotel that felt like home the minute we were welcomed in by Sandra and her two friendly dogs. Well situated above the busy streets and a terrific view from the sitting area on the rooftop.

"Cute unique boutique"

Charming, amazing friendly service. A bit difficult to find and nearly impossible to drive to. Wonderful views off the rooftop. In the historic old town.

"Yorumsuz"

6.0

Anzac Hotelde maalesef kalamadım. Ancaz Otel, tepelerin üstünde eski yerleşim merkezi, Kuşadasi'nin eski ve tarihi beldesi, sokakları çok dar, gözlemledigim kadar manzarada hayli muhteşem olmali. Lakin biz özel arabamızla seyahat ettigimizden, araba park sorunu yaşadık.

"Anzac Golden Bed... pros and cons"

6.0

Pros:The location was great. The view from the terrace is spectacular and the host is very kind. She took care of booking our trips and arrangements during our stay and also recommended great places to eat and see. The room is ok, but nothing spectacular. But there are definitely some cons as well. Cons: due to the great view from the terrace, this place is not for the fainthearted. It is up three consecutive hills and is quite a walk. Also, there is a serious problem with the bathrooms. Ours had a rancid odor that was so bad, we had to switch rooms. In the new room, the bathroom door locked from the inside every time it was shut. Luckily, there were two of us, so it wasn't a huge problem, but if I was alone, I would have surely been locked in. Other than that, the staff is friendly and courteous. Don't miss the breakfast!

"Worth every step of the climb!"

10.0

Beautiful, clean, quiet guesthouse with great views about three blocks above the fray of the city center. The first time you zigzag your way up narrow streets to find the place, you'll wonder if it is worth the climb. But after one day at the Golden Bed and your first interaction with its delightful owner, you won't want to stay anywhere else. Sandra treats you like a long-lost best friend and will have great suggestions for your stay in Kusadasi that you won't find in the guidebooks. Excellent breakfasts on the rooftop overlooking the city. Looking forward to my third stay there next summer. BTW, the walk down the hill is much faster—you'll be in the heart of the city in just 2 or 3 minutes.

"Felt Like We Were Staying With Family"

10.0

My husband and two adult children spent two nights in this charming bed and breakfast. Sandra took care of us as though we were family and even delivered tea and crumpets to our room one chilly afternoon. The rooms are nothing fancy but were immaculately clean and we slept very well. Anzac can be a little tricky to find but the location was really easy to navigate from for our daily adventures. Enjoyed her recommenatios on local places to eat, too. The rest our trip to Turkey was spent in Istanbul in the Pera area, but this very affordable B&B gave us some very warm memories. One warning - if traveling back to Istanbul from this location, be SURE to check the ferry schedules first. We missed the ferry in Bandirma and waited 6 hours until the next sailing. Luckily, we had the flexibilty.

"Excellent budget accommodation"

8.0

The Anzac Golden Bed was a hidden gem & certainly value for money for budget accommodation. Rooms very bright & clean & nicely decorated. Comfortable bed. We had a balcony & view across Kusadasi. Breakfast was included in tariff & just delicious on the terrace with lovely views. The only problem we had was finding it. Very difficult & surprising that many of the locals we asked didn't know & apparently it has been there for something like 20 years. A taxi driver directed us. We had a car & we were able to park in the Otopark a 5min walk & only cost us TKL12 for 9 hours. The B&B was located up the hill in the old town.

"Simple and reasonable B&B"

6.0

There was a nice breakfast every morning on the rooftop with a great view of the town. The brick roads currently leading up to the hotel/B&B are currently being redone so very hard to drag your luggage up the steep hill. There's a very heavy and not-easy to lock door that you have to lock and unlock everytime. There's lots of other odd rules like must leave your key at the place, and you're charged a fee if you want to pay by credit card. There is free wifi which was nice. The shower is the worst part- it's European style where the shower is over the toilet and the room is very cramped so if you use the toilet you're squeezing in to do so, and the whole room gets wet from the shower. But if this doesn't bother you then it's a nice affordable place with good central location to touristy-walking places. The man who answers the phone is not very nice- tried to call to get directions from the bus station but he wouldn't help and just kept saying to take a taxi, even though I wanted to walk to it. The owner is a very nice Australian but I found it odd that she talked to me about her expenses and hardships of the costs of the place- I wasn't sure what she wanted me to do with that information.

"The one on the top of the hill"

4.0

I've read so many good reviews about this place, so I decided to go with it. But it is more or less you get what you paid for or a little less than that, but never more than that. The walk to the top of the hill was tiring after a night bus journey and we had some luggages. Although there is a dog which can be lovely, but it is really big and a little intimidating as its barks are kind of loud.
