Hotel Jonio

Very nice hotel. The employees are amazing: super helpful and kind. The breakfast was really good.

Location. We wanted a property right on the beach near Noto. It is. Comfortable bed. A/C effective. Sea view. Bathroom ok.

Small things: sachets for a shower which you can never open once you and they are wet. Shower was pedestrian. Staff could have had a bit more life about them.

We felt very welcome and comfortable at Hotel Jonjo. The team was exceptionally accommodating and friendly. We would be happy to come back here anytime!

the whole ambience was bright and airy, with no buildings across the wide street running along the coast. Very well placed to visit the south east of sicily, minutes from Avola, Noto, Marzamemi.... and indeed Siracusa/ ortigia. Having a secured parking lot on its own grounds was also peace of mind. Good restaurants at less than 15 minutes distance.

Good Location across the road from the East facing beach. Plenty of private, offroad parking.

Poor sleep quality - Woken Up or Kept Awake most nights because our room appeared to have 'thin walls' - you could clearly hear the tv and people talking in adjacent rooms - on one occasion between 3 and 4AM!! Breakfast offering was largely flans, cakes and pastries - coffee had to be ordered from staff. Very little fresh fruit - mainly a diced fruit salad (largely apple) and some yoghurts. No hot food at all and no toaster.

Location , restaurant and breakfast buffet with sea view Parking space and reception and cleaning staff all very friendly They allowed me to check out 1 hour late (must say 10:30am is a very early check out) Young girl (dark long hair) at both breakfast and dinner super polite helpful and professional Tried once the restaurant for dinner and overall fish was nicely cooked (but a bit over priced)

- breakfast time hours are a bit odd for a holiday resort (last at 9:30 am with breakfast area closing at 10am) would really encourage them to extend it to market average - unfortunately , being in Sicily and a 3 star, the range of options for breakfast was poor for the area (no almond milk, no dried fruit eg area is well known for pistachio, almond etc, no fresh fruit apart from a mix tiny cut fruit salad very difficult to eat with a tiny spoon) - I asked the first day some almonds which they exceptionally provided to each table since I asked (and the blond lady at breakfast was rude and did not check on me specifically to order coffee or other )
