Brentanos Apartments ~ A ~ View of Paradise

Établissement de très bonne qualité. Nous avons très bien ete accueilli par le gérant de l’hôtel l’hôtel. Le petit déjeuner était tout à fait correct. Le gérant a su nous indiquer les points principaux de l´ile à visiter L’établissement est très propre : draps changés tous les 2 jours, serviettes changées tous les jours. Je recommande cet établissement qui est très bien placé.

Wir waren 5 Tage in den Brentanos Apartments und hatten eine wirklich gute Zeit. Der Blick von der Terrasse unseres Appartements und von der Frühstücksterrasse ist einfach großartig. Die Gastgeber sind wirklich extrem hilfsbereit und Yiota ist ganz sicher die freundlichste, aufmerksamste und charmanteste Gastgeberin, die ich jemals in Griechenland kennenlernen durfte.

We were excited to stay here because of the great view and lovely pool but it ended up being a poor choice for our young family. Remotely situated at the top of a steep hill, the hotel was difficult to access on foot with young children. Unfortunately, there is also a woeful lack of local amenities and virtually no pavements in the area which make walking around with kids quite difficult. The local beaches are small and stoney - very disappointing considering the high quality beaches on the other side of the island. Overall, we struggled to find things to do during our four night stay. The hotel itself is not at all suitable for young children as the pool area is made of very slippery marble and they don’t offer basic necessities such as high chairs etc. The staff, while not unpleasant, didn’t go out of their way to help us or make us feel very welcome during our stay. I don’t think we’re the kind of customer they were aiming for. Brentanos is a decent hotel choice for couples looking for a bit of peace and quiet and who are prepared to rent a car. Families and people with mobility issues could probably find better hotels in nicer areas for less money.

This accommodation is truly 10 out of 10, a family run business that feels so right and can’t fault at any level. A car would be useful if not the bus that passes near by would be the only useful options Top place Top people

The unit we were in was modern, large, very comfortable, and spotlessly clean with an amazing sweeping view across the sea. The staff could not have been more friendly and helpful.

Amazing, friendly, personable service from all of the staff. Beautiful views and delicious breakfasts. Convenient for driving to Corfu Town or Benitses, and exploring the rest of the island by car. However, not much around within easy walking distance in terms of restaurants etc.

Yiota was absolutely fantastic, I have never felt so looked after at a hotel and this is the key reason for my high rating. She went out of her way to make us comfortable and made us feel at home. The views were truly stunning. The room was comfortable and clean, again with a beautiful view from the balcony. I would recommend hiring a car to explore the island (Yiota had some great recommendations on places we should see and where we should eat) but do be careful as the roads are very steep and narrow!

Hotel has the most amazing views especially if you pay to have a deluxe apartment in Block B. Rooms very clean and recently modernised and a great maid service considering you are self catering. On the down side it is dangerous to try to walk anywhere as the pavement is limited and roads are narrow and always busy. In any case there is nowhere nice to walk to anyway. You really need a car to get away from the east coast south of corfu town. No beach areas to speak of so hard to relax for the day. We went to south west for sandy beaches. A lot of noise too from aeroplanes coming into Corfu airport but you get used to that.

Thoroughly enjoyed our 1 week stay at Brentanos appartments. Costas and his staff were very helpful. Excellent recommendations for car hire, restaurants, walks and visits. The day trip to ancient Greek and Roman ruins in Albania was esp good. The facilities and standards were excellent. They even arranged fantastic weather throughout our stay. Highly recommended.
