What an amazing resort set in paradise and Yorkeys Knob is a beautiful place to stay . Carl and Mandy who manage 'Golden Sands Beachfront Resort' are lovely friendly people who go out of their way to make your stay a memorable experience. Everything is absolutely spotless the grounds, the beautiful pool and the gardens. The apartments are spacious and kept immaculate by their wonderful cleaner Sandy, who does a fantastic job and is a lovely lady. There is also a restaurant on the premises called, 'Hidden Yorkeys' the food there is absolutely amazing and the owner and his team are the so warm, friendly and welcoming you wont want to leave the place. The service there is impeccable. I love it here so much that we are staying for two months this time and even after that we wont want to leave. The strolls on the beach are amazing particularly at sunrise and sunset.

I love everything single thing about this resort. If you did have a problem all you would have to do is approach Carl and Mandy and your issue would be taken care of expeditiously.

It was really comfortable, clean and spacious. Very close to the beach and the pool area was lovely. The apartment had everything we needed including washing machine and dryer

We liked everything! Just for other travellers to be aware- it’s 20-25 minutes out of Cairns, which we liked as it was a relaxing stay. Also, in stinger season there’s no swimming at the beach
