Golden Sands Beachfront Resort

We loved our accommodation, it had everything we needed. The balcony area was a great size to relax, and the inside was very spacious. The bed was so comfy. The location was quiet and convenient, we watched the sunrise every morning on the beach and then went for a long walk. We swam in June in the heated pool and had a hit of tennis. The hosts were very helpful, and having the restaurant on site very convient. Well worth the stay, loved it.

Lighting not great inside room and fans only worked on 1 setting. Beds and pull out sofa not very comfy

We love this resort for its location, spacious room and the owners are so friendly and helpful.

Great self contained unit with everything you need close to the supermarket and only 25 minutes from Cairns. Quieter area with lovely pool to relax by.

Super friendly and relaxed staff made our stay extra special. We’ve stayed at a few places in Yorkeys and this has been the best by far.

Could have had better cooking facilities.

This is our third visit and as usual all was prefect. A very relaxing stay. We had a great room overlooking the pool.

Golden sands is located on the beachfront, ideal for morning walks. Extra large bed was a total winner for me, so spacious. Management were kind enough to organise a coffee plunger for the room which I really appreciated, thankyou. We were pool facing, really gorgeous to wake up to with tropical trees and the pool. Resort is very quiet, guests keep to themselves. Yorkeys knob is a quiet village, however situated close to palm cove for eating out. Also positioned between cairns and the daintree which is handy if you are sight seeing.

I would of liked an additional set of shower towel’s however Im not complaining!
