Gian Paolo was very helpful. As this was not such a busy time of year he spontaneously upgraded us to an incredible vast room in a nearby villa. He gave us a great recommendation for supper and we were also able to leave our bags with him while we walked around the sights of Lecce.

Position is 10 minutes from station and less than 10 min to the centre. Italian breakfast arrangement at local Cafe was very good. Nice ambience. The apartment had more than enough room for 2 people.

Our room was changed on arrival from the terrace room to the spacious apartment on 1st floor. This meant less steps for us which was good but inside, the apartment's bedroom has steep stairs to a loft which requires agility.

It's in an ideal location in the heart of Lecce and easily accessible from the train station. The room we had was large, immaculately decorated, clean and very comfortable with everything you could need for a longer stay (we only stayed one night). The inclusive breakfast is a voucher you can spend at a nearby cafe on the way to the station. It is a classic old school Italian neighbourhood bar where you can have a caffe and pugliese pasticiocco - for us this was perfect.

The only thing I would say is that the communication for organising check in time was unclear. The host is lovely and very attentive but perhaps needs some help messaging with online bookings :)

Location was excellent. The apartment was very large and comfortable. Great shower. Vouchers are given for your breakfast every morning of your stay. The cafe they use is really good, about a 5 minute walk.

Could use more lighting in the bedroom area; reading light would be helpful. Contrary to a previous review, transportation is not offered from the train station. Communication due to language one time was a problem.

The description states room available from 2pm. Got there just after 2pm and reception was closed and not open until 4.30pm. Came back at 4.30pm after hauling a large suitcase around and still closed, rang the bell several times and owner finally arrived, and quite honestly came across as rude. Check-in took like an eternity and room was very noisy late at night due to its proximity to a few bars. Simple and clear communication about when reception opens would help. Stayed in a place in Bari just before this stay which did exactly that. Also they provide cups and a couple of sachets of coffee but no kettle or tea/coffee maker. Breakfast is basically a 5 euro coupon for a very popular and busy cafe.
