Il Molino del Ponte

Wir wurden nett empfangen und auf deutsch begrüßt. Unsere Ferienwohnung war sauber und von der Größe her ausreichend. Der einzige Nachteil an der Ferienwohnung Nr. 1 war die geringe Beleuchtung. Da das einzige Fenster zum hellen lichtdurchfluteten Innenhofs geht, der allerdings auch als Treffpunkt der Hotel- und Ferienwohnungbewohner genutzt wird, war die Fensterläden von außen verschlossen, damit niemand hinein schauen konnte. Das Frühstücksbuffet war gut befüllt und Eierspeisen wurden auf Wunsch zubereitet. Der Swimmingpool steht rund um die Uhr zu Verfügung. Das Hotel wird vor allen Dingen von Motorradfahrern besucht. Erwähnenswert ist noch, dass sich das Hotel in alten, aber gut instand gehaltenen Gebäuden befindet. Die Räume sind hoch und haben alte hölzere Deckenbalken.

1 night stay on a last minute booking as usual for me. The owners are very good people and bent over backwards to make sure everyone was happy. I was lucky to show up on a night that some wonderful folks trekking across Europe on motorcycles were their. The owners and guests hung outside chatting, having a few drinks and espresso. We all carried on to a large dining area after washing up. The great time and tall tales spun as the wine flowed. They were not shy about uncorking bottles either. The hotel grounds are delightful to walk around. The room was large and the bed comfortable. I never left the hotel as the fun and entertainment was all on site. Oh the joy of hearing tales and yarns spun from my biker crew kept me riveted and laughing all night. I believe a great resort or hotel stay is not measured by its features but by how I feel about my stay.

A notre arrivée, ça sentait le gaz ... pas un mot du réceptionniste à ce sujet, on nous à donné la clé sans nous accompagner à l'appartement ... Un lit pliant ... et que 3 chaises pour 4 ... l'évier bouché ..., les photos du site sont bien plus jolies, la bouteille offerte à la fin du séjour c'est gentil mais à part les petits déjeuners qui étaient copieux et variés, la région jolie, route du vin !

Stayed here for only two nights in July 2015. Great hotel if you don't want to spend any time in the actual hotel and want to travel around because the location is great. Otherwise, there's not much to do in the hotel. The pool isn't a real pool, it's a blow up type one and the restaurant's pretty small. Lovely staff but our water was very cold in our room, which we never got the chance to see if it was fixed. All in all, a good stay, but not for a family holiday.

Accueil véritablement exceptionnel, situation idéale, à une vingtaine de kilomètres de Florence. Très bon restaurant à proximité, site très agréable, très bon petit déjeuner.

We highly recommend il molino del ponte for your holiday in Tuscany. The rooms are big and comfortable and fully equipped, and immaculate presentation. We thank our lovely hosts Giorgio and Viola for their generous hospitality and allowing us to feel right at home. The food and wine were truly exquisite especially the barbecue meal we enjoyed together with other guests one night. We thank you from the bottom of our hearts Francesco and Maria

My Friend and I were driving back in early from Florence to the Naples when we got lost, and so we started looking for a vacancy for the night. We came upon Hotel Il Molino del Ponte, and decided to check and see if we could find a room for the night. Thankfully, the family who own this hotel also speak German and the family were all so helpful that we felt right at home. We actually regretted leaving and driving back down to Rome after such a wonderful stay at this beautiful hotel...
